  1. Wow Rune. I knew you could write, but I never expected a small novel. Anyways, good stuff. And, as little as you need it, good luck.
  2. Yeesh, Tas. You say my stuff's good. This is good poetry... I wish I could channel emotions like that. It's what it's about, pure, raw emotion. Good stuff, Tas, good stuff.
  3. I dunno if this was meant to be funny, or not. But it was. I've felt like that lots before. I even think I wrote about not writing once, but it didn't turn out like yours did. Good stuff.
  4. Woohoo, made it in this one, too . Another good on, Vlad, though the first was better.
  5. Hey! Glad you made it. Nice little poemy thingy, hope you get in soon.
  6. I could take the easy way outta this and blame it on Zool. Or Peredhil. It IS their fault . But I'm not gonna. I write because... it's what I do. I live for poetry. It's what I'm good at. The emotions I write run through my veins, they throb in my head. When I write them down and share them it's like giving away a peice of my soul. I've had times when I haven't written anything at all, and, if you ask anyone who was around during those times, they'll tell you. I was miserable. All the emotions that aren't being shared, bottling up inside of me. I'm prolly weird for it. I need to write. If not for a my writing, I'd probably be dead now. I used to just write things on paper and sit them in my closet. Now I'v4e got places to share them. People who read them, and enjoy them. I can ask for help with getting better at what I love doing. None of my friends really understand. I show them what I write, sometimes, but they don't get it. They can get their emotions out in other ways. I can't. My pen and my paper. They're my only release. Otherwise I just have nowhere for the words to go. Of course, I also write for the people who enjoy it. For every person who's ever read a poem of mine and smiled, or cried. Everyone I've ever touched with my writing. .. you asked..
  7. It'd make a pretty good song, if you don't mind 45 second song . A lot of people could relate to the feeling conveyed. I've felt that a lot.
  8. The line breaks kinda threw me off, the first time, After I re-read it I got the sense it was putting across. Makes you think... really. Good job, Tas.
  9. Sound effects! One of my favorite things in poems (and, oddly enough, something I've never been able to do properly). It really gives off an auro of desolation, though the beginning and ending don't really meld with the middle. It almost seems like it was three seperate thoughts forced into one.
  10. It does work pretty well as a song. The second stanza reminded me of Macbeth. I can't really say why, though.
  11. The perfect reason for to never write structured poetry. I can't think of words that rhyme and work as well as that. I just can't do it. It's a real gift, Vlad, and you've got it.
  12. This's really beautiful, Yui, though I shouldn't have expected less from you. I was hooked from the beginning, and I usually skim over the stories unless something catches my eye. You're brilliant, write more.
  13. Sabs!!!!! Great poem, and it's good to have you back.
  14. Hey now. You've known me long enough to know I bite at every opportunity.
  15. It depends on what the 'that' is. If it's the action of taking the pills, it's keeps, if it's the pills, it's keep. Very good stuff, Blondemoon
  16. Umm, why would you do that, Falcon?
  17. Both versions are really good. I kinda liked the original better, but that's probably because it seemed more poetic... and I'm a poet. I like the wording better on the new one, but that's to be expected from an older person. I always hate the way my old stuff looks. Good stuff.
  18. I'm.... flattered. It's a really good peice of.. collective poetry, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
  19. This is good stuff. I'm starting to see what I've missed while I was... away. Good job.
  20. Yeah, you know me. You think there was more the one Deg on earth?
  21. Raw emotions are good inspiration, if it leaves the poetry a little sloppy. I like it, it seems a lot like some of my older stuff as well.
  22. Degenero Angelus - The Fallen Angel, literally. He came about after a game of.... probably ADnD, though I'm not too sure. The fact that there's darkness inside of all pure beings, and purity inside of all evil beings has always kinda interested me. The idea of playing a fallen angel who felt some remorse for what he'd lost, but was just as proud as his contemporaries caught me instantly. I've never gone back.
  23. Uhh, I'm Poet, but it looks like you already got that. The Mighty Slacker. I dunno, whatever you wanna do lumpy.
  24. Deg pulls in fashionably late, as usual Wow, promotions. Congrats guys and hope your Quill Quest is easier than mine was. Degenero, the 'one and only' "The death of one is a tragedy, the death of millions is just a statistic." - Joseph Stalin, 1946
