  1. bumping to bring back to page 1 now that it's finished enough.
  2. Loki.. what the... STALKER!
  3. As I awaken, my eyes open to the truth. Just one more day, another lost memory, Confusing me, grinding my teeth till I chip a tooth. But still can't see through this haze of mediocrity. I ask myself questions, to discover the root. Everything around me seems to go up in smoke, and when I ask for help, no one could give a hoot, so I guess I'll just sit back and have a toke. Why do I keep getting stuck in this rut? Where in this world is my way out? How many more situps to get rid of this gut? They blame my faith because it isn't devout. No matter what I do, it always seems to backfire, Like a misloaded gun blowing up in your face, Or believing in a man who is known as a liar. At times the questions they seem so vague, a bit of this, a bit of that, and everything between. They follow me and hound me just like a plague but with that my vision has become so keen. As I stare through this fog, it suddenly lifts. In the distance the answer becomes clear. Through all the temper tantrums and fits, it became clear that my place is not here. semi finished.. needs serious editing and criticism.
  4. Just wanted to drop in to say hello. I'll be posting off and on if no one minds. To those whom I offended in the past, I'm not going to bother saying I'm sorry. It's meaningless. What's done is done, and nothing can be done to change that. I would just ask to let me try again.
  5. Mr BBE, excellently crafted poem. Obviously the pain in each and every word is what truly makes this an great work. Amazing job evoking such emotion, especially in someone like me.
  6. Unfortunately from what I heard, a lot of the people killed were tourists, at least in certain areas. It's a shame. But, that's one reason I stay inland..
  7. I never said that being able to define the questions would change it. Lord knows I wish it did. Thanks for reading P. I just kinda had to post something. I blame Buddha for being too damn encouraging.
  8. Damn you P! *shakes his fist* And actually, they are stupid questions because I'm asking them of myself knowing full well the answer.
  9. Do you juxtapose the right and the wrong, after taking just one big hit from the bong? Do you feverishly crawl back into your shell, everytime that life starts to become hell? Do you hide behind anger and sarcasm, when you're just stuck in a fearful spasm? Do you cry yourself to sleep at night, all because you feel too weak to fight? Do you find yourself wishing to die, all because you failed to try? Is it a struggle in the morning to get out of bed, or to keep certain thoughts out of your head? Do you think I'm pulling all of this out of the blue? ... Stop, you're right, I do. all thoughts and responses can be kept to yourself, though I suppose it didn't stop Pered, so post'em if you want. But if it's something you feel you need to tell me, I'd rather it be a personal message over a post here. Thanks for your understanding.
  10. Since Wyvie asked me to, I'll post. Baja Blast Mountain Dew *Available exclusively at Taco Bell* This is supposed to be a refreshing lime drink, which after growing up on lemon-lime sodas, I would assume would be decent. After taking the first drink, I was almost forced to spit it all out. It has a very bland taste to it, almost like really weak Kool-Aid. It seemed to me like drinking seltzer water that someone put a couple drops of lime juice in. I CANNOT recommend this to anyone.
  11. And viciously pinched at Vinnie's fingers. "NOOOO! THEY HAVE FOUND US," could be heard echoing in the vast underground labrinyth. Vinnie, with a look of shock and amazement stands up quickly to alert Melvin of his recent discovery. "Look at this man, there's a whole civilization of pervert crabs living on this island," exclaimed Vinnie. Ted, overhearing this, became increasingly angry and vowed to destroy those living on his island without his knowledge. "You little freaks won't get away with this!" screamed Ted, who then ran over to the uncovered base. "OH GOD NO. THE HUMANS WILL BE CERTAIN TO DESTROY US. THE PLAN MUST BEGIN IMMEDIATELY." could be heard from some crab. And then suddenly, the sand began to shift and ...
  12. Awesome poem Sal.. Great to come back and see this.
  13. It is showing up on the blue style.. Not sure how I got changed to it, but it does show up.
  14. Wow. An Arwen poem that didn't make me want to repeatedly bash my head into a brick. I'm impressed. Although a bit depressing, it's a very emotional piece, and quite well done in fact. I'm glad to see good spelling and proper punctuation. It's awesome to see your writing is evolving. Congrats, and keep up the good work.
