  1. Interesting, mixing two tongues in one poem and it rimes. Very good.
  2. In French-Canadian, we called the the floors like the following: Rez-de-chaussée (Main), Premier étage (as in Brits' first floor), etc. In fact, it's like the Brits.
  3. I've found this site: http://www.le-dictionnaire.com/ There's links to a synonymes dictionnary, to a French poetry site and to the French Dictionnary that is made available by Québec's governement. On this one, I've found the Rhymes dictionnary: http://www.barbery.net/lebarbery/index.htm I also use http://www.m-w.com/ for my translation needs.
  4. Sign me up! I love both ideas. The TV one: It reminds me of the one inspired of these infamous 1950's monster movie. I would go a bit further with this one. Why not making it actually A TV serie, with all the kitch "Stay tune" catch phrases. I have the good ol' Batman TV show in mind. As for Name of the Rose: This is an excellent premiss for any Werewolf game.
  5. Yui: That is a very interesting explanation. Let's see if anyone can come up with another subtlety of the English language, or any other tongue.
  6. When I do write in English, I mix both American and British spelling. So it'll be color, connection or grey. As long as I made myself understood, it's all that matters for me.
  7. Actually, the game is done. If you want to start one feel free to do so.
  8. Consider the Café as the Cabaret: anything that is not a prose, story or a rp can go there. BTW, what the Dutches are doing is exactly what I enticed anyone to do in here.
  9. Corneille (Raven), is a Rwandese that have been raised by a Huutu mother and a Tutsi Father in happiness until the dreaded massacre in 1994. Surviving all his parents and siblings, he fled in Germany where he have relatives there and had been adopted by a German couple. One faithful day, he decided to make a trip over Montreal and litterrally adopted the city. He started his singing carreer there and starts to be famous in France. Recently, Corneille earned his Canadian citizenship. So I invite you to take a look over this very well done fan site (the official one is still being built) that gives you an idea of Corneille's R&B music. His song's lyrics are very introspective and the consequences of the Rwanda tragedy tincted many of his songs. While this site in only in French, I'm pretty sure anyone can find their way in the Multimedia section after clicking on the "Entrer" button at the bottom right of the screen. http://www.corneilleonline.com/

  16. Three more letters! Ma chère Katzaniel, You made a roaring impression here the first day you came and your enthusiast for being a Troubabdour warmed my heart. I'm very impressed by everything you did, from you stories to your roleplay in the Werewolves games and what you did at the head of the Storyteller's Guild. Avec toute mon amitié, Lady Celes Crusader **************************** Mon cher Wyvern, Beyond your greedy ways, there's an heart of gold and a mind that yearns to discover many different things not only for yourself but for the other pennites. You do a colossal job as the Elder of the Initiate and I'm thankful that you played along when I first apply. I'm so sorry for all the trouble my cats put you into. Sincèrement vôtre, Lady Celes Crusader **************************** Ma chère Tanuchan, When you came in here first at the Pen, you immediatly spiced it up in your own way. À la tienne, Lady Celes Crusader
