  10. After Esaneh's crypt had been emptied by the egyptologist, the searches slowed down and had stopped completly. However, Esaneh and Khe's betrayal left marks in many of the remaining mummies, who had lost a friend, a lover, a companion. Maesha and the remaining four dancers resumed their daily rituals in Osiris' name. During the dance, Maesha's sadness shrouded her voice, turning a song about joy into a haunting cry of despair. She still sees Hemahibe's and Nerebe's dancing along them, while knowing that they are no longer around them. Although the threat seems gone, Maesha knows that someday, someone else will look for them all and will bring them away from everything they all cherished. The lead dancer prays for the safety of those who are already away from them... THE END
  11. Well, it have nothing to do with French because they probably don't want their public to recognize any of the words. They also throw in Latin. Now, there's no Italian, nor Spanish nor Latin words but I believe they built this odd language around how these tongues sounds. But then again, I could be totally in the wrong.
  12. Shy little Carbone gazes at the two Guinea Pigs intently, wondering if she should do anything about it. Meanwhile, Cambronne decided that he should go for these. So standing behind the creatures, the black cat touches one of them. Guido looks down over the intrigued feline. - Hum... looks like we have a curious observer down there. Cambronne stares at Guido with his round yellow eyes, wondering about these giant talking fuzzballs. He decides to rub his side on both Guinea Pigs and leaves them, deciding that he'll have more fun playing with Carbone. Meanwhile, Guido and Nuncio blankly stared at the shameless feline. - Did he just claimed us as "HIS"? - I think so, Guido.
  13. Maesha looks around, trying too look for Esaneh. She then questionningly looking at Nehrathi. - Where is Esaneh? He's nowhere to be found and it does worried me. Nefertina, one of the remaining four dancers, hastily runs over the group. - Esaneh is in his crypt! He left the door open! Nehrathi follows the dancer over Esaneh's tomb and sees him seated on a chair, leaning forward and his face buried in his hands. When Nehrathi started to walk over him he signs her to stop. - Forgive me, Nehrathi! Forgive me because I do not deserve your love. Nehrathi is shocked: she realized what he is meaning. She was only able to let go one single word. - Why? Esaneh looked over her and notices that the rest of the group followed her. - I've heard of these searchers and I wanted to divert their attention away from us. If they gathered enough mummies, they would have left and we could resume our peaceful afterlife. But I'm afraid that it wont turn out that way. Maesha nods. - Unfortunatly, you have opened a forbidden door and now, no one will be able to close it. They will search this place until every single tomb is found. Rahothep looks at Imhotep. - Can we do anything about this? Imhotep shakes his head sadly. - I'm not sure I'll have enough time to study the scrolls. So, either they continue to find us one ny one, even thought now, it'll be harder without Esaneh's help. Or... we decide that we all leave this place and go over where the others are. (OOC: Congrats! You've found the second wolf in Esaneh/Merelas. Now, it's up to you players to draw up the outline of the epilogue.)
  14. Well, it had been a odd game. Now, I'll close the vote before any more inactivity drives me crazy.
  15. Little Angela gracefully dances in the falling snow, letting each flake that falls in her palms melting away. The wind caresses the girl's cheecks with freezing strokes. The child stops her dancing and admires the choregraphy that nature arranged with the snowflakes. Then, Angela runs around, her mouth wide open, tasting the cold snow on the tip of her tongue. The little girl hears steps that are making cracking noises on the crystalline blanket. It was her mothers, who summons Angela to go back home. The child gazes one last time on the shimmering decor before heading back home.
  16. I'm back and I see that there's still not enough votes in. I'm pretty sure that by Monday, you'll make up your mind.

  19. The next night, Khe's crypt was as neatly emptied as the others, however, another one who happens to be next to it is also empty. That crypt belonged to Nerebe, another of the dancers. When Maesha walks by it she immediatly alert everyone. The gathered mummies were saddened by this new finding and now, everyone looks suspiciously at each other. (OOC: Time to find out the culprit! You have 48 to 72 hours for this.)
