  1. Maesha Ured stopped her singing on a soft note. Once she had been a beauty that a statue barely managed to grasp. Now she an emaciated corpse who still keeps a dignified allure onto herself, although the spark of life shimmers in her eyes. Like the others, her heart is still in her funeral jar although Imothep managed to restore the eyes and the brains. The sun was about to rise and everyone silently followed their way over their crypt. Nehrathi gently kisses Esaneh while the two guards shared one last good laugh before slumber. Imothep hopes that the dreams will give him answers to the numerous mysteries while Moses wondered if his wait will ever end. The following night started with a scream. Everyone gathers around the entrance of what seems to be, Hemahibe, one of the dancer's tomb. Maesha cries in despair. - Osiris will be upset! Someone tooked Hemahibe's belongings and she's gone too! Everyone looks at each other, wondering what happened here and who is behind this. (OOC: Everyone had their role assigned and NIGHT PHASE begins. Time to vote against whom you think is behind this. I give you 48 hours to decide. Happy Hunting!)
  2. Vahktang: The Pharoh have his very own tomb completly appart from this funeral complex. Tanny: I plan to be around the game through and through since there's nothing in real life that will drag me away. But of course, the first lynchee will have the priviliege to assist me in this thing and to roleplay any of the dancers or even his character during his trip over to the British museum.
  3. Celes sees the shield blasted away and decides that perhaps she'll probably need more brute force to aid them in the fight. She conjures 50 Archangels and instruct them to defend the weakened group from the evil spirit magic. - This will buy us time. They'll last long enough so that I can recover enough. Tanny looks over the Archangels. - How many things can you summon, Celes? - A lot... It'll be a pleasure to chat about my magic but I think we must keep our mind focus on the fight. I'll try one of my most powerful but draining spell soon, but I'll need some mana potions. Yui quickly throws some at Celes. - Thanks Yui, that'll be enough. While Celes drinks them, Tanny wonders. - We need time right. I'll slow it down for at least 15 minutes. Yui looks at Celes. - Isn't that spell draining for a Phantasm mage? - It is, Yui, it is... Crypto is looking for the book. The more I'll slow the time here, the more time I'll give him. Celes starts to cast Temporal Stasis and the twisted environnement and the battle is distorted into a very slow time frame. Everything within the battle scene is on slow motion. Meanwhile Cryptomancer is still looking for the book.
  4. OOC PART: RULES 1. No PM'S between the villagers, Seer and Baner allowed. Only the Werewolves are allowed to PM each other. 2. Night Phase: Since the mummies are only active at night, this is when the lynching process occurs. The one who have the most vote stacked against him or her will be eliminated. RPwise, this mean that the unfortunate one is forced to leave his chamber opened to the egyptologist. 3. Day Phase: This is when the villagers fall asleep in their sarcophagae while the Seer, Baner and Werewolves will be active. Werewolves: These fellows decided that they should enjoy the riches in the crypt alone and they are aware that a team of egytologists is actually searching the complex for tombs. They decide to leave clues, making the tombs found easily by the searchers. They are allowed to PM each other. Seer: PM's the moderator (ie myself), naming who he/she's seeing. The moderator will answer truthfully. Baner: Will erase the marks made by traitors, saving a mummy's unlife. If he chooses to mark a Werewolves' tomb, no killing as well. Victims destiny: Once discovered by the egyptologist, the mummies and their possessions will be send on a one-way trip over the British Museum, where they'll resume their unexistence. PC's (in subscription order): Vahktang: Moses - Israël Ambassador YanYanGanaffi: Benny Sandpounder - Pharoh's personnal bodyguard Tanuchan: Nehrathi - One of the Queen's maid Cryptomancer: Imhotep - Cleric Ayshela: Napheen, Pharoah's children's nurse Gnarlitch: Pamiu, the Pharoh's older cousin and one of his chief advisors Merelas: Esaneh, the court scribe for the Pharoh Dean the Adequate: Khaires, the wines servent Gryphon: Rahotep, junior officer in the pharoah's army assigned to the palace staff. Knight: Khe, the "new guy" in Rahotep's squad of guards... NPC's (all by Lady Celes Crusader) Maesha Ured - The Pharoh's favorite dancer, also rumored to be his mistress. Six charming dancers that accompagnies Maesha. All of them have for main purpose to distract the inhabitants and helping Imhotep in any ritual that requires dancing. IC In the famed Valley of the Kings, in the heart of Egypt, a team of egytologist discovered what seems to be a huge complexe. When they uncovered most of the hyeroglyphs, they realized that several sepultures are locked inside this wonder. When night falls, strange activities occurs in the vast central hall of the funeral complexe. Gathered around a fire, seven females mummies where dancing, following the chanting of one of them, singing for Osiris. The audience is composed of a rather heteroclite assembly of individuals. While two of them seems to look at each other amorously, three others are discussing spiritual matters. Two guys, who were guards in their former life are watching the dancers casually when others were simply remembering the great moments of their previous lives. (OOC: 24 hours roleplay)
  5. Welcome Knight. If I put these " around "new guy" is because, well, you're dead and mummified so techincally your not that new.
  6. *lol* Gryphon, you have the whole week-end to think about these details.
  7. Welcome to the both of you. Check the first post, I've assigned the starting date, so depending upon the number of players, we'll have one or two wolves.
  8. *Takes notes.* Excellent, Merelas, you're in. I'll annouce a date when I'll have a reasonnable number of players that suscribed to the game, which is about 10.
  9. In that case, that's for my whole life. Knight: We all come from different parts of the world so, in my opinion, it's perfectly normal that we don't share the same opinions. In fact, the ideas and debates are the roots of a healthy democracy. So stay true to your values and opinions, you're appreciated the way you are.
  10. I've read some interesting observations about Paul Martin and Georges W. Bush; While Bushy is quick when it comes to take decision and that he'll stick to it no matter what, Paul is the total opposite.
  11. Celes kneels on the ground, trying to spare what little energy she have left over to her protective magic. She glances at Tanny. - It's no use to spread our energy around this twisted mess. Tanuchan nods at Celes. - Agreed. The sooner we free Gwaihir, the quicker we can go through this. Can you channel your magic powers over to someone else. - I surely can, tell me to whom when you're ready.
  12. Your welcome Gnarlitch. You did choose an excellent name.
  13. Celes slowly comes back into her sense while coughing heavily. She pulls off a tissue out of her sleeves and spat a oozy mucus. Although the sight of this thing was disgusting, it helped her to ease her soared throat. Then she heard the accusations fling from one side to another. She listens to them, coughs for a moment and then voices her opinion. - I can account the doings of many of the people who are around here. But it is not the case for everyone. Merelas was often around me and helped me checking for the books. I've recalled that both Vahktang and Ayshela were nearby the Library. But I had no ideas about Gwaihir's whereabouts between any incidents. OOC: A vote against Gwaihir.
  14. *Gives a big hug to Ayshela* To a dear friend of mine who still have good ideas about the Storyteller Guild, I wish her a great year. Happy Birthday. :wizzie:
  15. Celes' fascination with the blue covered book stack is cut short when she starts coughing. She turns around and the yellow smoke is now surronding her, which makes it impossible for her to see where's either the window or the door. Her instinct made her kneeling on the floor. - HELP!!!! *cough* THERE'S SMOKE OVER HERE!!! *cough* Celes crawls on the floor, planning to follow the bookcase until she reaches a wall and then, looking for either a window or the door.
  16. Welcome Shadow. As you can see, this particular forum aims to nurther creativity in any kind of expressions while being courteous and respectful to the others. Feel confortable anywhere you'll wander in the Pen.
  17. Boaz: I perfectly know what you mean when you've said that you feel that conservatism have a "horrid" label stamped on their forehead.
  18. Celes finished her throughouly search in the Library although she had yet to find the Necronomicon. - Great, whoever had it cleverly hide it. After Ayshela read the difinition and shares her concerns about the blue guy, the Café owner thinks over it. - I do agree that something is at odd there. While the indigo hominid protested Celes sighs. - Why did you used that word in the first place? OOC: A vote against Finnius
  19. I'll definatly choose deafness over blindness because all my studies are around keen vision and that there's so many technological innovations that can ease your communications with your peers. Also, I did have a deaf friend and she was able to communicate with us without the sign language and she lead a normal life besides the fact that she was deaf.
  20. *Hugs* You made a mistake and you learned from it, which is all good. Now, there's no need to feel guilty about it.
  21. If the fact that Bush is stucked with a divided America will let him take a more moderate approach, since he desires to unite the whole country back together, there's still hope. However, the division is way too deep between the more liberals and these religious fanatics that constitued Bush's electoral base. It will take a lot of time and a huge deal of compromise in order to have an unified USA. Since he doesn't have a strong mandate, he should be more cautious than ever.
  22. Celes keeps looking for the dreaded Necronomicon, accompagnied by Merelas, who decided it was the best to keep an eye on her in case the the Library is booby trapped. While books were litterally flying around, the patient gentleman sighs. - What with this book upsetted you so much? Celes stops for a moment and magically pilled the books that she already inspected back into their place. - You see, I suspected that Cryptomancer used it as you've seen the bizarre effect that occured to him, even thought he was among the pranksters. But I need to get that dreaded thing back to Yui so she might be able to do something about it... if she actually wants to read it in the first place. But, for as little I know about it, I sure do know that this thing should be locked up away from anyone. Meanwhile, Vahktang enters the Library and looks at Celes and Merelas. - I apologizes for my intrusion but, did find a dictionnary. A Webster's will be fine. Celes uses her flight spell on the requested dictionnary and leads it over Vahktang. - There's your dictionnary. Any news of the others? - Well, CheerMynx had been pranked and I think Finnius have something to do with it... - Really? Right now, if I can only find that dreaded book, I could rest easier if it'll be in trustworthy hands. Vahktang looks questionnably at Merelas who simply shrugged while mentionning Yui's name while the Café owner is still searching throughouly. OOC: No votes yet
  23. Ayshela: Exactly. Vahktang: As you had seen, I did founded out. Cryptomancer: There's no problem with that.
  24. Celes claps herself on the forehead. - Great... now I do believe we should breace ourselves for the worst. (OOC: Couldn't thought Cryptomancer was a Werewolf in both this game and the Mafia one. )
