Since, if i recall correctly, Emily and Anna are very similar to the names of your other girls, they might not be in the running here. hmmmm... Alisa, Adrianne, Bethany, Belinda, Katrina, Deanne/Deanna, Gina, Julie/Julia/Julianna (and the many variations therein), Heather, Cassandra, Saria/Sariah, Lynette, Christina... Ran across this when Kythrah was pregnant - it's just one of many similar out there. =)

"What's up with that many 'no' votes?" in a matter of gauging the level of interest? Clearly there is *some* interest. For "that many" others, though - well, to quote the T-shirt - No means no.

Ayshela slinks through the shadows, sticking trails of glowing yellow paper footprints throughout the Pen, all leading in to the Birthday Room to a dimly lit table upon which sits a very large birthday cake and two bowls of punch (alcoholic and non, to each their own). Above the table hangs a large banner which glows through the dimness, reading "Happy Twenty Second Birthday Tamaranis!". Looking about, Ayshela mumbles her way through her checklist, hoping all is cheery enough for a birthday yet dim enough for one who avoids bright lights. With a small nod, she leaves "Happy Birthday" lingering in the air with hugs set to pounce him as soon as he arrives, then she races off to an appointment she's already late for.

Ayshela slips in almost unnoticed toward the end of the evening - unnoticed, that is, until she tacklehugged Wyv and dropped a happy birthday kiss on his blushing cheek. Happy birthday, i hope it was wonderful for you!

despite the fact that that sounds suspiciously trollish... i do know a couple women (yes, early to mid thirties, not grandmotherly, i swear) who *have* made that choice and are very happy with it. They held down jobs very successfully for years and decided they didn't want to any more, they enjoyed home and family more and so walked away without looking back. In their cases, that was a financial possibility as well, and worked well for them. Happy Homemaker isn't for everyone, neither is Working Wife/Working Mother. Sometimes the decision on which to be is made by financial necessity, but where that isn't the case the choice should be purely on personal preference - and is not fodder for anyone else's judgement.* my two-cents 'shela *disclaimer: the opinions presented here are my own and are presented as opinion only.

you know, i wondered when i first looked at it why you *hadn't* joined the two line sets, since they were united by rhyme, but in a way they're more united by rhythm and rhyme than direct content - and joining them, you lose the thoughtful pause as shift from one concept, one angle to another, as well as losing the progression and leaving the set of *three* lines seeming out of place.
