Why do we dream? It is our world. It is 1999. You wake up, you get ready for your day, then you work, you play, you finish. You go to bed. You get up every day and do this. Roles will be PMed to you Sunday. Sunday will also be the first NPC death. We're using original rules for this one, mate! With one tiny excption: in the RP, you can take the option of wolf kills NOT being done by your character, and done through highly specialized NPC actions instead. If you take that option you may have me write out your kills, or write for the NPC yourself the whole way through. Your choice. I'll tell you all about said NPCs when I PM the roles. Although she can be pretty charming when she wants to, she keeps mostly to herself. Her ideas and ideals have kept her away from most of the people who would call her a friend; her interest in genetics is driven by an almost obsessive wish to know where Humanity is going, besides where it came from. She can't escape the nagging sensation that there is something that does not fit in the general scenario. He believes in Order, although not the Order that he sees around himself everyday. What is around him is too ordered, too perfect. He does not care a bit about his sister's research, preferring to bury himself in books. Both reading and writing. His writings range from the very philosophical to the absolutely common recipe book. A lot of his work isn't published and either lies around on hard drives or on sheets of paper neatly stacked in his apartment. Most annoying to his sister is the fact that Nathan always remembers exactly where he puts something, even if years have passed since he put that something there. He is a little person, and is by no way ashamed of what he is. He works for a computer gaming company, particularly in the programming of MMO's, in which he gets quite involved, as he plays a few of them himself. His goal is to make his MMO's as real as life, and believes that he will someday achieve this. In his online world, he can be whoever he wants to be, and in a way, be who people expect him to be, because even though he is very comfortable being little, what annoys him is that all the big people still see him as some kind of freak, and not the human he is. In his off time, if you can call it that, Pico throws himself into the online world, for games, for friends, for information. Name: Lindsey Mitchell Occupation: video game programmer Computer Alias: Ves Lindsey has spent her life fighting the stereotypes of her sex, and everytime someone is surprised at her occupation (or rather her genious when producing written code) she gets sullen and angry. She has a bad temper, a sharp tongue, and is always hungry. When she's not sitting in the cramped offices of her fellow game producers spending 18-20 hours on the computer and eating stale pizza, she sits at home and lives her online life. Her friends wonder if she sleeps at all. Before becoming a programmer full time she once wrote story plots for the games. But Don worries for a different reason. He came into the law looking for a rewarding career in serving justice, yet finds that justice is not always served. Flaws lie in the materials he studies, warping justice and conflicting with his conscience. Something isn't right, but he can't lay his finger on the exact root of the problem, as it evades his most thorough examinations. A result of this problem is that he has turned to the internet, traveling the wires of the world under the name of "Codex". Under this name he seeks answers, but finds far too little for his taste. Character: Anzu, 17 Anzu is a J-Rock fan who spends her time alone or with a small group of fellow J-Rockers. She sells pencil, charcoal, and paint sketches for a living while practicing her other forms of strange art and kahnji. Her life is quiet and full of spectacular opportunities that other artists or J-Rock fan girls would die for, but inside she feels as if there are invisible walls around the world. Whether this is just her desire to leap into her drawings or a deeper insight she can't tell and brushes it aside as symptoms of her artistic madness. Every now and then she ventures online under the alias of Bob, a nice, unassuming name she thinks of as a laugh for her true self. Brown guinea pig with a white spot on one side / Pig Alex always called his guinea pig, just Pig, whenever he remembered to take five minutes from his computer games that is... Pig is a six month old guinea pig, a birthday present to Alex from his parents. He likes salad and carrots, but he usually gets only dry guinea pig food. More posts by me to follow as soon as you guys post some more. Sorry to do that to you, but as you can see, we're still in a very "back and forth" phase. Since we have nine players, I went ahead and rounded up to two wolves for our purposes. Hope you don't mind. \;>) Roles are PM'ed, and voting can begin as soon as you guys feel ready. Each day phase will be 12 ghours, or whenever everyone has voted, whichever comes first. Day phase begins now, so night will be at 3:11 AM, EST.
