  1. i take pride in the number of things i've peed on, just because i can
  2. In the vast history of Werewolf games that have been held here at the Mighty Pen, a number too vast to be counted (whats that?? oh right... 31... nevermind) it has often been the attempt of a werewolf to try to convince his or her fellow players that a person who has not been active might be secretly watching and should be lynched (i succeeded in doing this back in WWII and won!! i still feel proud about that, but im rather egotistical). However, its ussualy evidence that the player is a villager, because innocent villagers are much more likely to lose interest in a game since they have no special role, while wolves will stay particularly involved because, well.... they want to win. Because i'm pretty sure Gryphon is trying to nail me with the "he's not posting so hes actually the wolf" bit (judging from his most recent posts and my recent lack of posts) im accusing him. of course, i'm prolly just thinking about it too hard... which i tend to do at 2 in the moring when im hyped up on caffenine
  3. Mr. Coolio tried to resume his conversation with the DJ but soon found that he couldn't remember the previous topic, and neither apparently could the DJ. Or perhaps he just did not wish to continue the conversation. Mr. Coolio had an unsettling feeling it was the second. Giving a polite nod, he left the darker edge of the room where he had been momentarily absent from the focus of the room. Mr. Coolio was a little displeased to discover that when he returned to the center of the room, he was not approached by anyone, a rare occurrence indeed. It appeared that his reputation had temporarily been dirtied by this drunken rabble rouser. He decided to let the crowd think what they wanted; his opinion would not be swayed so easily by a man who is so heavily swaying. This drunken fool had already gotten Vanessa into some sort of trouble, a person who, while he saw as an opponent as a fellow agent, he still respected and doubted that she was guilty of anything (except poor fashion choice for her clients). Mr. Coolio went to look for Sheila, he thought he might recommend that Seth be escorted to a cab (he doubted he could make it on his own). OOC: Vote for Gryphon / Seth
  4. Mr. Coolio had arrived early, as usual, to avoid the usual swarm of people that crowded around him at these things. He'd already made a quick visit to the buffet table, made a trip by the bar (only to say hello to the bartender he knew, everyone knew Mr. Coolio didn't drink), and was now talking to the DJ at the edge of the room, an old freind he was reliving old memories with.
  5. The sound of a roaring fire and the absolutely wonderful smell that comes with takes me home. My home is not home without a fire in the fireplace. wood, of course, gas fireplaces are for the weak.
  6. New York abstains.... courteously no actually yay! for me, but i do love me a good 1776 quote
  7. It's a scene most can remember from their childhood. your back is pressed up against the wall and your legs bent in an uncomfortable manner. The bottom of shirts bats you lightly against the head and you're pretty sure you're sitting on top of something that was not meant to be sat on. you’re holding your breath and staring at the dark void that seems endless in front of you, when in actuality it is two inches of wood about 4 inches from your nose, listening to the pitter patter of feet running around the house in the hopes that they don't come any closer. it was supposedly fun. however, repeating the same event today seems to have a certain less amount of thrill now. perhaps it isn't the same without that childlike worry that you might never be found and die, the risk is gone. perhaps its the now obvious fact that despite it being so dark in here, this really isn't that good a hiding place. or maybe it's just simply the fact that despite your best efforts to fight the winless battle against time, you have gotten larger and the door is now only half an inch from your nose and you can make it out easier. you might as well come out of the closet now. you really can't relive your childhood.
  8. Savage Dragon watches the river flow by from a high vantage point. Catching a glimpse of a vaguely canoe shaped shadow slip down the current, he is rewarded with an old memory of playing Red Rover with other scouts in canoes in the lake of a summer camp. Of course Red Rover was never meant to be played in the water with canoes, and they didn't really try to adapt the rules so much as scream out the name as they tried to topple each other with their oars. ah those lazy summer dyas...
  9. If my family is safe, i can't really think of anything i'd risk my life for in a burning fire... i'm just not a very materialistic person (you can thank the book The Gospel According to Larry by Janet Tashjian for that). On the days where i think about just up and leaving to find my way in the real world, which are many, i usually imagine myself leaving empty handed.... maybe some cash in case
  10. horse edit: wait, thats steed...oh well
