  1. The person above me is capable of the greatest and of the weirdest at once. Ozy: *lol* Fortunatly, neither my refinement and patience intervene when I decided to play AM. Otherwise, I wouldn't be hanging here.

  9. There's cats but no more fishes in the land of the doubles There's dancing penguins but no snow in the land of the doubles.
  10. This is a sad day indeed It takes events like this one to remind us that Space Shuttles exploration is not an ordinary events and several risks are taken each time. My condolences to all the astonauts' families.
  11. *rofl* Kas, that was brillant! I can hear the accent in my head.
  12. Carbone and Cambronne finds the wiggly things pretty interesting and both prepares to jump onto a wiggly cabbage or chicken
  13. I did took part of Larps and I enjoyed them a lot. But, since I've got a weird summer schedule, its hard for me to attend these. Table Top is nice too when you just want to be with a few of your friends. I did roleplay through the internet by Java chat. Java chat is nice as long as the number of players is limited and that they are controlled, otherwise its a twinkfest. I also like to play videogame RPG as well. I'm a fan of the FF series and I love Neverwinter Nights.
  14. I'm glad that things works out for the better
  15. I write because I wanted a place where I can equally express myself in both English and French. The Internet opened lots of minds toward "foreign" languages and this is a great window to prove that. A froend of mine opened up the way by reclaiming a place where French writers will feel free to write their feeling in their mother tongue. I wish that I can see works in Spanish, German, etc in the Manor of Tongues. Also, it helps me greatly to improve my vocabulary in Shakespeare's tongue while keeping polishing my skills in Molière's.
  16. Hi Signe!!! Its nice that you have new babies. I hope they don't have a knack for electirc wires. Its good to have some news from you.
  17. I've got my share of influence here and there. First and foremost, events of my life, my family, my pets, the mediatique world, movies that I see here and there, Salvador Dali, Ray Bradbury, Agatha Christie.
  18. Falcon: If you feel to take a break, do so. You know that you'll be always welcome here and that we care for you, one way or another.
  19. Narcism? Depends upon which part of the francophones you're talking about. The "Vive la France" type since to tend to be well, narcissist, especailly the intellectuals. Some even talked down about the Québec accents. As for the North-American francophones, its the pride of being able to protect the tongue use and the cultural preservation within a vastly anglophone and hispanophone community. But that can lead in some kind of narcism. Soyez patients mes chers, je ne suis pas la plus prolifique du Pen mais je vais en pondre d'autres œuvres. (I want you to try to translate that one for your and my fun )
  20. Merci I always put up translations with my works, although that the translation of my snowball story had yet to be completed. In this particular work, it was so difficult because of the emotionnally charged tone it bears.
  21. Allright here's for my nicknames. Celes Crusader: I'm a Final Fantasy fan so I picked the first name of FF6's Celes Chere and added Crusader (a summon you can find late in FF6) as a surname. It had been put together since I needed a name for a D&D character and this is waht I thought of. It was also my first AM mage nickname. All my blue mages were named Celes Crusader. Zakuro: Its the name of one of the female Demon in the anime Ninja Scrolls, who have an explosive temper and magic. When I first joined the Ager guild The French Miagik, I've founded out that another girl goes by the webnick of Celles. Besides the extra L and the absence of a surname, confusion was spreaded because of the similarities. The reset after, our guild leader suggested that all the french mages take a nickname from either a cartoon, anime or comic strips. I've picked up Zakuro and I decided to play red on Ager since that day. This was my Ager nick ever since, while I kept Celes Crusader for the other servers, which resulted that I was equally known under both nicks. For anyone who might be curious about my pets' name: Carbone: Although it could have been from the chemical element, it came from Cyrano de Bergerac's Carbon de Castelgenoux. Since she's a girl, we added an e or otherwise, in French, it would still sound like a male name (Carbon and Carbone are pronounce diffirently in French). Cambronne: It was from General Cambronne, who's famous for his word "merde" (which means sh*t in French). The legend about this general was that he had asked to ennemy troops "Do you surrender or merde?". General Cambronne won the battle and the word "merde" is used instead of good luck in the artistic community.
  22. Lady Celes Crusader walks around with her pets nearby her. Cambronne, a rather tall black cat that could be easily called "the would-be-panther" sniffes and rubs the surrounding furnitures while looking at the people's behavior with his ever-curious yellow eyes. Carbone, on the other hand, decided that she's better staying nearby her mistress since the tiger-stripped grey cat havent found any decent place where she could hide but still be within Celes' sights. Celes thinks about what should be her custom title. Hum... Hum... I'm still troubadour, that's a fact. Now, for the custom title, I'd rather have something that have it share of history behind it. It is more valuable in my point of view. What would single me out from the other Pen members. The Lady starts to write a list of the following characteristics: 1. French is my mother tongue and I'm using either French or English in my works. 2. I'm one of the few, if not the only one, who translated my own works as well as other people's. 3. I'm the owner of two adorable cats who are also a part of the Mighty Pen's culture. 4. I'm mainly focus on prose rather than poetry or rpg, although that I'm at home while rpging as I am at wrting stories. 5. I've yet to qualified my style of writing, but I think I'm not alone in that basket. While I did wrote long stories, I prefer the short N' sweet appraoch. That's enough for that list... Hum... Well, I think that I'd rather have someone suggesting a custom title for me, that way, it could lead to some interesting results.
