Have you ever had one of those days

When things go right for oh so long

Then just out of the blue the go wrong?

 

Have you ever had one of those days

When you feel like you own the world

And then you find out that you're merly 1 in a billion.

 

Have you ever had one of those days

When the person you love looks at you

And you think you see love back, to realise that it was only the light reflecting.

 

Have you ever had one of those days

That you wish would just end

Yet it goes on forever?

 

Today is one of those days...and I can't stop it.

Everyone has them... they end eventually.

When you have one of those days

where you're flung from the heights

and land on the hard ground, hurting

 

When you have one of those days

when you're hit in your least guarded moment

and find yourself questioning your convictions

 

When you have one of those days

have faith in yourself and your hopes

and cling all the harder to who you are

 

Today may be one of those days, but it can't go on forever.
