Nyyark
Can you hear it? That laughter, The laughter on the wind. A cry of Joy, The sound of a friend. I knew you first, in this lonely land. The first friend, to offer me her hand. Now when I see, the Sun’s light, It reminds me, of the sight, The first kind look, yours alone. The first kind look, welcoming me home. Can you hear it? That laughter, The laughter on the wind. A cry of Joy, The sound of a friend. How is it you bring shame to the Moon, When your friendship far outshines it in the gloom. How can you be, and not be forever. With a heart so pure, like liquid silver. Can you hear it? That laughter, The laughter on the wind. A cry of Joy, The sound of a friend.

Gwaihir
I've heard that phrase 'shame on the moon' before, and never understood it. Nice poem though, it makes me think of similar people. ---------- I want to be page 93 of Pineapples, the Avian Crows-Nyyark

Bhurin
A joyful redition, my friend, and beautifully done. If I may say so, all too often do I read the work of others and find tinges of agnst and depression sewn into the framework. While this does not necessarily detract from the poem, it sometimes wears on my heart to absorb so much negativity. However, your work... Well, it sings really. I might have missed something, but I got general happiness and appreciation from your words, and was left very much pleased and contented. Bhurin sighs with relief. Yes, that one really hit the spot.
