  1. Brute Jr. sniffed Damon's hand and purred contentedly. ((Don't we all!!! lol)) Lelu smiled kindly and shoook Heinrich's hand. She eyed him quizically as that foul stench wafted through the air. White cat ears twitched as she watched the odd conversation between the demon and the seemingly old man. They were quite odd in her perspective, and that was saying a lot. Her emerald green eyes fell on Damon as he spoke to her again. I understand perfectly well sir and please, call me Lelu. When Brute Jr. began kneeding her shoulder, she shrugged him off, causing him to slide down her back. The kitten knew better than to try and grip onto her cloak, knowing full well the consequences of such an action. As far the cat goes. You can simply call him B.J. It's seems to roll better off the tongue, don't you think? She smiled brightly once more, those feline canines of hers reflecting in the light. She followed behind Damon as they continued their stroll(or hike, whichever really). B.J. plodded along beside her, that tail of his going back to that methodical swishing. If watched long enough, anyone could go into a trance like state. She'd seen it happen.
  2. She smiled at Adglomero's comment. It's no problem...really. Pleased to meet you all. She adjusted her cloak, thanks to that confounded breeze tha kept blowing through. I'm sure I will. I get along with just about everybody. She smiled brightly, a pair of feline canines. Brtute Jr. rolled his eyes and climbed up her side to perch on her shoulder.
  3. Lelu finally stepped forward. She looked like she was human, except for the white ears and the white fluff that appeared from time to time from under her cloak(her tail). She raised a brow at Heinrich's comment and then shrugged. To each their own, I always say. She smiled warmly and offered her hand in greeting. Greetings. The name is Lelu Asana. The kittten is Brute Jr. Brtute Jr. huffed. Pardon, the cat is Brute Jr.
  4. Seeing an ilithid pass her way, Lelu what was gonig on in front of her. Brute Jr. paid the thing no attention. The two continued on, simply admiring their surroundings. Lelu's fluffy white ears twitched from time to time. A cool breeze blew through once more and ruffled the midnight black cloak she wore. When she heard the voices of the others she stopped. Brute Jr. continued on until he came upon the others. He let out a soft meow, trying to pull off the innocent white kitten look. Suddenly a voice emmited from the small kitten. Greetings. If anyone had heard Lelu speak they would have known it was Lelu that was now speaking.
  5. Lelu shrugged and continued her little stroll, figuring if she came across the others that she could take care of herself. Brute Jr. padded along besider her, his tail swishing back and forth as if following some invisible, melodic tune. A soft hum filled the cool air as Lelu began to hum to herself. It passed the time and helped clam whatever frazzled nerves she may have had.
  6. A calm, peaceful evening found Lelu and Brute Jr., her little white kitten, meandering through the forest. The commoners at the Caberet told her not to just take a stroll in the forest, but they usually took her for less than she really was. There was more to her appearance then met the eye. A cool breeze blew her cloak off of her head, letting her auburn curls blow in the breeze. The little kitten stopped suddenly, which in turn made Lelu stop dead. The kitten let out a loud meow, contridicting to his small size. Yea, I know...I can't seem to figure out who it might be, but there are others here. The breeze came again and blew her hair around, this time revealing a pair of fuzzy white cat ears. Again, there was more to her then met the eye. She waited patiently to see if those who were near would cross her path.
  7. I'm thankful for the newest edition to my life, my new boyfriend. I've never been happier thanks to him. I'm also thankful for my close family.
  8. Lelu let out a burst of laughter at the hulking man she knew as Brute, being called "brutesy wootesy". She stopped and bowed suddenly as Wyvern came racing into the room. "Greetings." The little kitten at her side let out a meager meow in greeting. She watched curiously as he tried to hastily exit the room, wondering if she'd said something wrong. A brow was raised in curiousity at his comment about the tax agencies and the FBI. As respectful as he was, he was odd, in her perspective. She smiled as he stamped her application: ACCEPTED and told her: "welcome to the pen." "Thank you very much." She picked up her little white kitten and headed for the door. She stopped infront of the door and turned to Wyvern. "If you don't mind me saying so sir. You might want to be a little more kind to," she motioned to Melba with her free hand, "your 'almost' secretary. She's apt to get you fired." With a slight chuckle, she turned back to the door, puting her hand to the fine wood. "Trust me, I know what it's like to be in your position." As swiftly as she had entered, she was gone. Heading to the Caberet Room to have a small drink.
  9. Lelu smiled at the receptionist as she was offered food. "Thanks you." She devoured the food as the small kitten enjoyed her bit of tuna. Her head popped up at the sound of Brute's name. "You know Brute?" She patiently awaited an answer as she finished off her meal. She smiled and patted her stomach when she was done and the kitten let out a contented meow. The receptionist ended up being nicer then she thought. Well, first impressions aren't everything. She thought she try to strike up a small conversation. "It's no problem ma'am. I'm in no rush."
  10. I know quite a few posts myself, but some of them have already been said. There is one though, that I've always liked: "Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death." -Unknown
  11. A patch of light drifted in through the tall window of Lelu's bedroom window of her large loft/studio. Eyes blinking from the invasion of light, she sat up and stretched anew. This new day found her in a good mood as she went about preparing for her day. She showered and made breakfast for herself, then proceeded to feed her white feline. A knock on her door made her turn away from her task at hand. Answering the door found her face to face with her soon-to-be fiancee, Joseph, or so she hoped. She recieved a peck on the cheek and a swift hello from the man she loved and was promptly asked if she was ready to go. A simple nod answered his question as she grabbed her over-stuffed bag and her coat. The two stepped into the flow of side-walk traffic as they made their way to the local coffee shop. Finding a table outside of the small coffee shop, they ordered their drinks and waited patiently. There was an ackward silence between the two and Lelu found this odd. They normally always had something to talk about. Joseph seemed to be fidgeting with something in his coat pocket and Lelu raised an eyebrow. He looked to be about to say something, when their drinks arrived and he was detained once more. They downed their drinks, like they always did and were on their way. Their first stop was the large veterinary clinic, Lelu's work. Joseph hugged her tight and said a quick goodbye before disappearing in the crowd of people, heading for his own work. "Odd." Lelu said more to herself than to anyone else. Walking inside the large, revolving glass doors she was met with a rush of noise: the constant ring of a phone, dogs barking, cats meowing and an assortment of other animal sounds. This was Lelu's home away from home. She had been interested in animals since she was a child and when she reached college, she couldn't help but pursue this dream of hers. There was little else, except Joseph, that she was interested in. She had met Joseph one day at the coffee shop and they had instantly bonded. Taking messages from the receptionist, she made her way back to her office. Her day was going to be busy, as usual, but she enjoyed being busy. It never left any time to be bored. The day passed quickly, as it always had and she stood outside the large sliding glass doors, awaiting Josephs arrival. Twenty minutes later, Joseph still hadn't arrived. Figuring he got caught up at work, she made her way the short distance back to her cozy loft. Opening her door, she was surprised to see a bunch of rose petals scattered across her living room floor. Her jaw hung open at the sight before her. She knew the only person who could be responsible for this: Joseph. "Surprised?" Came the voice from behind her. She spun around to see Joseph, smiling happily. She turned and walked inside, still speechless. "Well?" She nodded. "Yes, what is this about?" Joseph approached her slowly, his dark brown eyes holding her. He stopped infront of her and dropped to one knee. Lelu's eyes widened as realization hit her. "Lelu, will you marry me?" Lelu's voice squeaked as she tried to talk. Clearing her throat, tears formed in her eyes. "Yes, I will." This was one moment, Lelu would never forget. Joseph meant the world to her. They shared so many interests. Such as: the love of animals, the joy of writing and so much more. Such is the life of Lelu.
  12. Lelu came to a skidding halt at the main door of the recruiters office, the cool night wind whipping her nearly pitch black cloak around her. Can't be late, got to hurry. She pushed the door open and peered inside, the sudden change of light nearly blinding her. She hastily stepped inside, blinking a few times so her eyes could adjust to the lights. Emerald green eyes glanced from one thing to another, taking in her surroundings relatively quick. She stepped up to receptionists desk and smiled. The woman seemed to be busy looking over something else and hadn't heard her enter. Lelu cleared her throat, but still the woman paid her no attention. Reaching inside her seemingly normal cloak, she pulled out a smooth sheet of paper. "Ma'am?" As hard as she tried, this woman was not hearing her. Mumbling a few choice words to herself, Lelu set the paper on the desk and turned to leave. "Are you here to turn in your application?" The woman finally asked in a semi-cheerful voice. Lelu closed her eyes and gritted her teeth, but when she turned back to the woman she was all smiles. "Yes, as a matter of fact I am." The woman grabbed her paper and set it with the many others that were to be prossesed. "We'll get back to you as soon as possible." Lelu opened her mouth to say more, but the woman went back to doing whatever it was she was doing. "I'll just be waiting outside." She said to no one since she knew the receptionist wasn't paying her any attention. She turned for the door, but the sound of thunder made her stop dead in her tracks. Hanging her head, she mumbled to herself. Looks like I'll be waiting inside instead. Glancing around, she found a lone chair and made her way to it. She sat down and much to her surprise, a long meow echoed from within her cloak. The receptionist cast a look of confusion in her direction and Lelu turned three shades of red. She reached inside her endless cloak and pulled out a small white kitten. It meowed once more and then snuggled into her arms. The receptionist, now seeing the kitten, looked at her even more oddly. Lelu forced a smile and looked down at the purring kitten in her arms. Pulling her attention away from the newcomer with the endless cloak, the receptionist grabbed the neatly pressed piece of paper. She put on her reading glasses and was astonished to find the piece of paper she held to be blank. She looked to Lelu with suspicion and glanced back at the paper she held. She did a double take, seeing that there was writing on the paper. This woman was strange indeed. The paper read: Life Journey To live a life of love Would be a sheer fantasy To live a life such as mine Would be absolute confusion Bouncing from place to place Never sure of where my home is I plead with myself Hoping to find somewhere to stay for good Through the stress and confusion I see two dark forms Never moving, just standing As if awaiting my arrival A feeling of comfort engulfs me My heart dancing to a lighter tune As I approach the forms Their appearance still void As my steps bring me ever closer I see two happy people A tall, dark and handsome male And a beautiful, blue eyed female Hands suddenly extended Drawing me to them Engulfing me in their lives Making me one of them Now, my life is one of happiness My home, with them Is full of love and acceptance Dreams do come true.
  13. Lelu grins and drools over the layered cake that Ayshela brought her. "Many thanks you guys." Thanks guys, it really makes my day. Oh, I'll be watching our for Orlan, trust me!!! lol
  14. Normal? Haha :woot: Now there's a word that isn't in my vocabulary. I am far from normal....though I pride myself in being wierd. Anyway, normal is typically seen as anything that is within people's standards. Anything outside someone's standards, thoughts and beliefs is said to be wierd or "not-normal"...like ME!!!
  15. Hmmm....let's see...Death doesn't scare me 'cause I've stared it straight in the face and I'm still here. I don't fear snakes, spiders or drowning, I just don't like the idea of any of them. My main fear is: not being loved. I hate the thought of not being loved by anyone. Wierd, I know, but true.
  16. The living? Well, there are quite a few people I wouldn't mind spending time with. I can talk to just about anybody for hours, but my choice would have to be my psychology teacher from high school. The man puzzled me to no end and was one of the first people that I didn't uderstand. We shared a lot of the same interests, but the man still baffled me. I'd like to get to know him a little more. He was such an awesome teacher. As for the dead......wow, I'm not quite sure. I woulnd't mind meeting Frued, just to tell him his theories were absolutely bizarre. lol But if I truly had to choose, it would have to be Davinchi. "His" theories were great and proved to be correct. A lot of his work was astounding and I wouldn't mind learning how his mind worked.
  17. *shakes head at Zool.* I understood some of that, but I think you lost me back at the part about the rubber chicken in the jacket. Safe or "safety" is more of a feeling that an actual thing. You can feel safe and believe that you are safe, but there is nothing in this world that actually keeps you "safe". At least, that's my theory. It's kinda like love.
  18. Wierd Dreams? Well, I know how that goes. I have wierd dreams all the time. Thanks to a very wise teacher, I learned a great amount about dreams. The first one, I see the skull and bones as something old and as for the demon, well.....that could be an enemy(and I have a general idea of who it might be. ) When it comes to the snake thing......that could be your worries and fears. The big snake could be your biggest fear is just tearing you apart, since you mentioned that it's eating you. I've had plenty of wierd dreams and I don't think all of them have meanings. Some do and some don't...some are just so wierd that they are hilarious. I laugh just thinking about why I even dreamed of it. Anyway, if you have any other questions on dreams, you're more than welcome to ask questions, I'll help the best I can. Always willing to help the "Matrix Man".....
  19. Lelu turned to see the large crowd gathering around a simple piece of parchment that hung from the Cabaret wall. She inwardly debated whether she should go and see what all the commotion was about. She had heard talk of the arrival of a fortune teller. She'd heard bits and pieces of the kind, but had never seen one or spoke with one, for that matter. Curiousity getting the better of her, she strolled over to the wall. A sign-up sheet was tacked to the wall and the spaces were filling up quick. It's probably a bunch of horse...... She heard someone say something about the fortune teller never being wrong. Not possible, she's got to be wrong sometime....but maybe..... Against her better judgement, Lelu signed the sheet and sighed. "We'll jsut see what happens next." She said to no one inparticular.
  20. A rather suspicious looking woman pokes her head through the door. Dark auburn hair masked most of her facial features as it fell forward, her clothing hidden beneath a midnight green cloak. Lelu stepped into the room non-chalantly, as though she didn't know she looked suspicious enough as it was. Being a relative new-comer she was merely interested in getting to know those around her. Stepping up to the bar, she brushed the fallen locks from her face and smiled brightly to those that sat drinking their ale. Good eve to you all." She extended her hand to whoever would take it.
  21. Goofy me, forgets to give a small introduction of myself. I found this place through Brute, who gladly showed me around the many rooms. This place is awesome. Anyway.....I'm 18, going to be 19 on the 7th of October...a few more years and I'll be 21...I swear, the alcohol is NOT why I want to be 21. *long pause* ok, I take that back.....that is part of it. lol
  22. Well, there is a definate liking for this place. Brute, thanks....I really like it here.
