Tasslehoff Posted August 31, 2003 Report Share Posted August 31, 2003 -Sunset- I sit here stuck in memories, The tears running from my eyes, The waves hitting me as hard as they can, The pain ever so goddamn crushing, Not giving up its all so unrelenting Looking up to the sky for a release, All this pain building up, Needing some way to vent, Looking up to the sunset with many fears, Day turning to night, Bringing the nightmares again Rushing over the edge, This is the end, Falling down; Deeper; Even farther, But it is no differnt from yesterday Just another day, just another sunset... The greatest trap is to want to change All the world and not change you Believe the others aren't deranged And change you'll never do. Most people stick with the hells they know rather than explore the unknown. Fear of worse pains that might not happen robs them of all the joys that will never happen without a bold leap into becoming a different person.
