  1. Here's one: Embraced by the darkness, breathing it in.... turns into: Place setting of the density, he in the breathing... Makes perfect sense, doesn't it? *Edit* By the way, I think you can probably guess what I put into the Babelizer to get the following result: Relativo or Nichtsein, is the question

  4. Briefly grabbing Wyvern's shoulder on his way out, Ethics whispers out of the corner of his mouth "You will remember my commission, won't you Wyvie?".
  5. Seems to work now, I just went there to take a look around and WOW are some of those pictures amazing! :woot: How do they do that? In Photoshop? Simply stunning! That one goes in my bookmarks Thanks for sharing the link, Rune.
  6. I thought of it like this: After the pizza guy gives back three dollars, the three men have paid him 3*9=27 dollars. Out of those 27 dollars, 25 are for the pizza, and he kept the 2 extra dollars as a tip. So, nothing is missing. The error is in the last part, where you added 27 and 2 to get 29, when in fact the 2 are already included in the 27
  7. I enjoyed it too Like mistral said, it's easy to relate to the feelings in this poem. Looking at people around you, feeling like you don't really belong - I guess we can all feel a bit like that sometimes.
  8. I got this idea from somewhere once, I'm not sure if it's silly or wise or both Living is expensive, but one lap 'round the sun is included every year free of charge :woot: Happy birthday, Justin!
  9. Another one :woot: Did you hear about that dyslexic devil worshipper, who sold his soul to Santa?
  10. Bring out the cake and the silly party hats! :woot: The almost-dragon is 20 today! Congratulations! *dons silly hat and waits for the giant cake to arrive*
  11. I enjoyed this. The image that I paint in my mind of a beautiful sunset is offset by the sadness of the words of your poem. I liked the contrast Thank you for sharing this.
  12. Hehehe, I've just sung your song to myself. I hardly understand a word of it, but I think it sounds great Good job! *starts humming again with a smile on his face*
  13. Hey! Yes, that's it! You turned it into a poem! That's a really neat way of answering. The more time I spend on these boards, the more I find myself wishing I could write poetry too. I shall have to start practising, I think
  14. Hehe, that was great! Apparently, this is me: I am the sonnet, never quickly thrilled; Not prone to overstated gushing praise Nor yet to seething rants and anger, filled With overstretched opinions to rephrase; But on the other hand, not fond of fools, And thus, not fond of people, on the whole; And holding to the sound and useful rules, Not those that seek unjustified control. I'm balanced, measured, sensible (at least, I think I am, and usually I'm right); And when more ostentatious types have ceased, I'm still around, and doing, still, alright. In short, I'm calm and rational and stable - Or, well, I am, as much as I am able. What Poetry Form Are You? I hope that I one day can write a sonnet
  15. Wow, I think this is the first poem about a sword fight I've seen. Like Justin said, not all poetry needs to be abstract. This started me thinking about a struggle between youthful strength on one side, and age and experience on the other. Age and experience can defeat youth, but in the end youth will win. Only, even in winning youth will inevitably be transformed into aged experience... so who really wins? Thank you for setting my mind in motion
