  1. Oh, my apologies... i don't keep too much up to date with the game world. I'm also quite sorry for digressing into my 'game reviewer' self... I actually don't review games. I suppose at one point I'll have to buy FFXI for my PC and try it. Maybe my girlfriend will like it too. (She likes FF more than me and bases a lot of her former stories off of the series...)
  2. "You know," a light tenor voice called out from behind the claoked lady. "There are some pretty dangerous things in this forest. I might be one of them... But, I suppose you should consider yourself lucky that I'm not. You don't exactly make your way spritely throug hthese trees, now do you?" He stepped out in fron of Silver (though he did not know her name), and bowed, his ebony hair falling over his face before he brushed behind his head again. "Allow me to introduce myself m'lady. I am Damon. I've not often come a cross a traveler during my time here in the forest, but when I meet one I like to have the company." He glanced at her equipment and nodded. "It seems you are looking for something. People do not generally come into the forest armed if they are a mere merchant or traveler. As I have nothing better to do, and I believe it is time I actually leave this forest, I might ask if I may join you in your travels? Your business is your own, but surely the things you may find in this forest you would not be able to handle alone... I'll let you think about it, but in the meantime would you mind if I walked with you?"
  3. Isn't the official title final Fantasy X (Ecks) 2? Anyway, I don't have the game or even a PS2 at the moment, but I am quite the Final Fantasy fan. Overall, FFVII is still the best and always will be (for Playstation consoles anyways), and I am hoping to get FF Origins and Anthologies for my PSone soon. FFVII is nearly perfect. I could fall in love with almost all of the characters, and the plot is so amazing. It's a little blocky in the graphics, but the backgrounds make up for it all, and the combat system is superb. Materia is sooooo fun! What makes the game, in my opinion, is Sephiroth and Aeris. That, and my little bishonen Vincent. (previously admitted... Yep, I am) FFVIII is a great game, but the Draw system gets tedious because it means that you would have to spend forever getting all of your spells, which means the simplest fights can take time of excess into 30 minutes... And I don't like Zell... too much. The characters are quite loveable though after you get to Disc three... FFIX... i don't know what to say about it. I hate Dagger, I hate Zidane, I hate Albert... The only person I like is the little Wizard guy (whose name i conveniently forget >*_*<), and that's what makes the whole game. He's so cute with his little hat. FFX... I... it's okay. It's a very long game, and both Yuna and Tidus get on my nerves. i only play it for Auron and Seymour... Blitzball is terrible, but the plot is wonderful and the graphics are amazing for one of PS2's earlier games. The aeon system disturbs me though... I like just summoning them and using their ultimate attack... maybe that's a sign of impatience. And lastly, FF Tactics is so close to perfection, you could almost taste it. A lot of people give it a bad reputation, saying that the game gets tedious, but it is amazing! There are 19 different classes that you can shift between, several, several different spells and abilities which are simply stunning in visual and game effect, and you can customize each member of up to 16 characters completely. The graphics are superior to a lot of new release Playstation games, and FF Tactics was made in '95 or '97. If you haven't tried it, you should. It can be challenging, and it can be long, but the fun of it is that you have a choice! You can burn through the wonderful storyline, or you can continue to raise your characters and get all of the abilities and classes, and then finish it. It's almost perfect! While I don't know much about 1-6, i'll learn sometime. And i'll try to get FFXI sometime later. But that's my review of the other ones...
  4. Hn... I can't say that there is a definite place that I would like to place one. My first notion would be to put it in a discreet little house in front of my girlfriend's house so I could see her go to school. But, I think I'd get caught building a house in her front yard... I'd like to put one in a torture chamber, which is what comes to mind. I have a fascination with the infliction of pain and the screams of fear that emanate from it perpetually. I love pain and fear... But, that comes with being a sadist. (Not Satanist, sadist) However, that's a little morbid, and i'd be har put to actually find a real Torture chamber... Can i buy another one? Perhaps multiple cameras...? i guess not. My secod thought is to go with Arwen's idea. I'd love to put it in Orlando Bloom's bedroom, but i'm not personally fond of Orlando as I am of Legolas. (Yep, I am) So, I guess that scrathces that idea. I'd put it in Johnny Depp's room... but... well, I don't really see a reason that I shouldn't except for the fact I don't want him to turn out to be a jerk in real life... I don't want to se who he really is. I'd rather stare at him in his movies (when he doesn't have the mustache or the beard... Sleepy Hollow) So ,I guess it comes down to a place that I had last on the list. I'd put it in an Irish pub because here are some really cool accents and they're always happy drunks. It would remind me of the hobbits! Meow! ><
  5. Oh. Thank you very much. i'll be sure to try and start it as soon as I can. To be frank, I'm at a loss for ideas, but i'm sure something will poke itself into that endless expanse of imaginitive thoughts that i have...
  6. A dream it was as my mind snapped I couldn't believe it was real I awoke with blood surrounding me Two bodies brutally beaten By my hands it had seemed But I could not believe it Even with the stains of crimson guilt Even with the flashing lights surrounding me But there was no one else It was all a blur to me before Fists and knives going all directions Was I defending myself? In an instant I was surronded by red and blue Lights and sirens and headlights blinding me My sense of taste functioned through the shock My teeth biting the wet asphalt of the alley There was the feeling of cold steel My hands bound tightly as I was the dragged Being carted off to endure more lights These lights accompanied by questions I explained my views How it had all just passed me by I could not deny my hands The tools of death I had used to seal my fate My memories faded away from me The time before I knew nothing Only blood and lights and sounds Grunts and shrieks and sirens It was surreal to me I didn't believe i had done it But there was no denying it There were the stains of guilt on my hands
  7. I've noticed a lot of Quill Quests going on around me, and I have to wonder how the idea is sparked... I was wondering if some of whom who have done them might be able to explain to me how somebody comes across such ideas and if there is a procedure to get them done? I'd certainly love to accomplish mine at some point in time, but I don't understand the concept of it... It's not like a real quest where I go slay an ogre and get gold... is it? I'm not asking for someone to give me one, i'm just wondering about procedures, and i would hope that perhaps I might find some inspiration and information in some of the answers... Even though I haven't formally asked a question... Um... I hope that's understandable... *runs away*
  8. Ooh! Lovely Haiku! Poetry 'tis fine for few. Short and very sweet. Um... I'll bite. Sure, if you'll have me, i'd love to be of any help... ~Hollywood Haiku, taken with proper respect to the guy who wrote it.(I don't remember his name... chris something...)
  9. Erm... it's poemy. I think you missed a word in there though... Um.. maybe... Hold please... shouldn't that be, the one... maybe? I don't know, I'm not you, but whatever... Good poem.
  10. Roleplayer? I can only guess... Anyhow, it's kind of funny how you turn in your application and you, um... What's my line again? Oh yeah. And your application says the same thing that you said while turning it in... PRECOGNITION!!!! As a happy note >< , try using capital letters somewhere in there. Interesting, to say the least.
  11. You don't seem like you write lame stuff. I think it's pretty good, considering. "Considering what?" "Just... considering." "You're wierd." "Ok." "Bye now!"
  12. Nervousness in writing? I can only wonder why. Too distracted to think straight, The time just passes by. I can't think of anything but love, Is that considered wrong? My brain is confused and worried, Like I hit it with a gong. I don't quite get what's wrong with me And it's got me in a baffle. My thoughts don't pick themselves, It's random like a raffle. Ranting and raving about nothing at al,l I don't think I'm making sense. I just want to find one thought, And end the random suspense. But everytime I focus on a thought, Particularly of her, I don't know what to say anymore, And it all becomes a blur. >*_*< >*_*< >*_*< >*_*< >*_*< >*_*< >*_*<
  13. Meow! I don't get something... I know it's hard to talk around somebody you love, but should it be that difficult to 'write around them'? You know, it's kind of like you're nervous that you might write something so horribly crappy, so you want to write it really good, but then you are so nervous about makinf it sound good that you make it sound like crap... I find it hard to write when I think about her... do you think that's normal? Maybe I just miss her too much, and I want whatever impression I can leave while she's absent to be a good one... It doesn't turn out that way though... note my crap-o-la entry in the Fall Ball... >'*_*<
  14. Damon sat floating amidst the never-ending war and the chaotic winds of the Abyss, contemplating on the invitation he had recieved. It was odd seeing something so regal and flamboyant in a place of infinite evil. His eyes fluttered closed in concentration, his ebony hair whipping around him in no particular direction. There was a spark of power in his mind and he perked up, attuning his senses to the location. It was coming from the Material Plane, and the only place with that sort of concentrated power would be the Pen. No one else on the planet believed in magic. "Elwen?" he asked himself in his mind, keeping his telepathy tuned to any other demons in the area. The concept of love was punishable by death in this Plane, and if anyone, especially Demogorgon or Graz'zt discovered that he was in love with Elwen... well, Hell wouldn't have a punishment suitable enough. His hand twitched, his rapier flashing out to destroy an eavesdropping quasit. He was always under watch, so he often found himself killing random creatures to keep his secret of Elwen just that... a secret. He focused himself and chanted briefly before flickering out of the Abyss and arriving near the walls of the Pen. Two guards stood at the front gate, awkwardly rigid. You know, you don't have to go. he told himself, pulling the invitation out of his pocket. It glimmered in the sun, the gold monogram depicting his name. "Whatever..." he muttered quietly, burning the invitation. "I don't need this to get in there." He focused once again, phasing back in in front of the two guards who were standing still. They had drawn an audience of sparrows and squirrels, but Damon waved them away. "Well... ummm..." he looked balnkly at the two guards, realizing they were being magically held in place. "You didn't piss Elwen off, did you?" He sighed, feeling nervous for some reason. Perhaps, he thought, it was due to the measure of power that was coming from inside the ballroom. He removed the enchantment from the guards and started to walk past. "While I'm grateful to you sir for helping us, I need to see your invitation. obod y gets through without an invite." "Somehow I get the feeling that you did this to Elwen too." he commented blandly. "Well, sorry to disappoint you, but I burned it." he held out the ashes in his hand. "Well, then I guess you burned your chance of getting through here." the other guard said rather snidely. "So, how about you just turn around and go back to the Abyss?" "Do all of you guards have an attitude problem? Frankly, i'm shocked you're still alive, especially after upsetting my..." He cut himself off. "Upsetting your what, sir?" "Well, after upsetting Elwen anyway." He looked at he ground, ashamed he couldn't say it in the open. He could still be watched as long as he was on the outer walls. "You mean you and--" he cut himself off as Damon grabbed his throat. "You'd best not finish that sentence, but yes." He set him back down. "In any case, I suggest you let me through. I may not have the sort of power that Elwen has, but I won't hesitate to kill you like she apparently did. Either you let me through and ignore the fact that I don't have my invitation anymore, or you die." "...you know what? Never mind." He shut his eyes and teleported into the building. He looked among the group of people below him as he hovered in the air, almost touching the chandelier, and spotted a kitsune amongst the masses, gossamer clothes and all. He suddenly became very happy and rushed over and glomped on his beloved. "Meow!" "Eh... I see you've decided to come unhindered today..." he commented, noticing her outfit. He was quite used to it from when they were enemies, but she'd never done it in public before. Besides, he hadn't ever seen her in a calm state before... at least in this form. "I noted your little quarrel with the guards... funny." (Meow... >'_'< That has got to be the worst post I've ever done... Well, i'm here at this litle ball thingy... Meow... Ignore the first part of it if you want, y'all.)
  15. Hmmm... I never thoguht of that. Thank you for your insight. I can't, personally, say too much about God bringing vengeance for me, but that might be because I, myself, am not a Christian. I'm a little immature in the evil sense, and I'd probably ruin their life somehow. Their family shouldn't suffer unless they had a hand in it, so I'd probably just set up an elaborate conspiracy and figure out who else has a grudge against them. In turn, I'd use the information that those people had to ruin his life in a non-violent fashion. (Make his wife betray him, cause his career to fall through, etc...) It'd all take some planning though. Sadly, however, I am not one who has that strong of a will to live, and if my family died... I'd probably kill myself. However, my family includes my girlfriend, and I'm heartless enough to maybe shed only one tear if the rest of my family died. I still have a lot of internal conficts I have to work out about my past before I care about my family... If it were my friend... I'd congratulate them on their good aim, confuse them, and simply think that hitting them with a baseball bat would suffice. If they didn't think they deserved it... something's wrong. But... I wouldn't hit them in the face. I have to wonder about if my girlfriend's family was with the reunion as well, presuming we were married or something. If her family died, along with her... I wouldn't live long enough to care about vengeance.
  16. I was rcently contemplating on something, and I find that people will do some awkward things for vengeance. In some cases, people will torture family members of the person they want revenge against and other malevolent things. Vengeance is never pretty... I came up with a hypothetical situation, and it is the sort of scenario that asks you what you would do in that sort of situation. I must ask that you do not simply base it off of a fantasy, but rather try to actually place yourself there... I hope you take my meaning. Here goes... It's a weekend... any weekend of the year, and you are planning a family reunion. However, most of your family say that they can't make it because of car trouble, in fact all of them either don't own a car, or something else... Being kind, you offer to pick them up, say, in your van. (You're driving a van... Grrr) They all live within a few miles of each other, mainly because you are very tightly knit with your family. Much like a non-violent mafia. Your entire family is in your van after you pick them up, and you are speeding down the highway, but only like a mile or so above the speed limit. you're not really doing anything wrong. About halfway to wherever you are holding your reunion, there is a horrible accident. In fact, it is so horrible, you are the only survivor of your family, and you watched each of your other family mebers die a painful and unelievable cruel death. (Trapped between seats and shrapnel while the van and other cars around it are burning their flesh away... something like that.) Their screams and cries for help haunt you for weeks after, nightmares plaguing you, and you are guilt-ridden that you could not do anything. Presuming that you have a strong will to live, you have not killed yourself in grief. (Might as well continue the family line...) You eventually discover that it was your worst enemy, or rival, or someone like that that caused the accident, and they did it intentionally. However, they are hospitalized. You find out s/he will be getting out of the hospital shortly. Now, with all of the grief and such that their malevolence has put you through... what do you do? As opposed to the other question, whatever you do, you have to avoid getting caught. If you kill them and the cops find out, you're probably going to get busted. That sort of thing... However, to add an alternative universe to it... Let's say that it was your best friend, and they are quite sorry for what they've done. Nonetheless, your whole family (Wife, kids, brothers, sisters... etc...) is dead. What would you do in that situation?
  17. Hn... Well, overall... I can't come up with something as evil as I wanted. I'm actually the kindest black-hearted person I know. I can think of some pretty evil things, but I'm too nice to do them unless I could get away with them. I was recently contemplating sacrificing children yesterday on Halloween, but there were two things wrong. My swords are wooden, and I couldn't find any kids walking by themselves. I just wanted to offer them to some daemonic power (if I truly believed in any) and hold their heads back and decapitate them. If I knew how to harvest souls, I'd have taken their souls and tortured them for my amusement. In all honesty, I'd love to do that, but I just couldn't bring myself... --> Sadistic Pacifist... However, if I could feasibly do something evil and get away with it... I suppose I would just have to kill people for sheer psychotic pleasure, preferably executing them in some sort of medieval fashion. If I ever were to kill someone, I would laugh at them... What's worse is that I really would. --> Kind of disturbed in the head, but a nice guy overall...
  18. If I were to have a biased opinion of these being my favorites, I'd have to agree with Aardvark. I've never met anyone so malignant before, even if I'm not meeting them... I'm still contemplating on my evil act though, especially since I'd probably use generations of my families to piece the whole thing together in something that would probably result in world suffering. But, of course, I'd never live long enough to see the result. >'_'<
  19. My string of questions will spring forth as Salinye's questions of life come about, however they are more manged on the dark side of the mind, so as to determine how open the mind truly is... Both Good, and Evil. This one is truly the most basic of basic questions to be asked, and should serve as a starting platter... (Please note that I am in reference to real life, and all instances are implied as though you would get away with it.) If you could commit an evil act of some sort, no matter how broad the scale may be, what would it be?
  20. I'm in such joy at her return A feeling thought I was doomed to burn I've missed her more than I could express I love her still, even more, not less... ... ... Eh. Sorry about that. I can't think straight enough to write a poem. I'm... very happy that she's back. Meow... I wonder if I... Meow.
  21. Ashke?! Meow!!!!!!! A massive smle spreads across the half-demon's face as he glomps onto Elwen. Ashke, I've missed you sooooo much! I can't really believe you've come back! Meow! Meow! Meow! I... *inhales* really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really missed and still do miss you. Um... Welcome back! *can barely contain himself in the RL* I'm just so happy... Meow! I'm going to go write a poem now. >< My ashke's come back! Meow! Meow!
  22. As some of you may or may not know, I recently graduated in June. While that's not necessarily recent, my moving is. I just moved into my new house in Virginia, and already I am preparing to move to Maryland with my mom, and then to a place called Job Corps. It's a fake college so I can get skills for Culinary Arts. However, they'll give me a degree and I wouldn't really need to go to college, but I've seen people go to college multiple times, so it'll all work out. In this time it may seem that I have neglected my friends by not calling them or whatever, particularly my friends whom I know personally have joined the Pen. Basically, Pip, Lynne, Merry, and a few others. My other friends i have stayed in touch with because they graduated too, so they are at home during the day and I ant call my other friends because the only phone is downstairs and i don' like to talk to my friends around my family. I can't say what I want, ya know? So, I figured i'd conjure up a poem or so, and hopefully all of my Pen-dwelling friends will read it, even if they have taken a vacation from the site temporarily, for one reason or another... Here goes... What is it that I miss? It all seemed perpetual... The past can't be over, I have too much to just leave it behind... My best years were with them, The casual gossip and misadventures, All of it spent with my friends, My other family. It can't end just because time says so... People say that friends come and go, That they all get left behind someday. To me... that is conformity. The best people in your life, Are only left behind if you choose to leave them. How is it that you can miss what never left? How is it that they seem far away when I could still see them? I think... time... no, Life is trying to tear them from me. "You have to move on." "Sacrifices must be made." "Success is the key to happiness." It's conformist lies... I like... I love my friends like family Because they refuse to conform. They think outside the box... like me. Happiness does not lie in money. Popularity does not produce true friendship. True friends are there to the end... Who would I be if I moved on with my life, Neglecting everyone I ever cared about, Everyone I spent my life trying to find thus far? It's because of them that I do give a damn... I remember who I was... without them. My life was nothing but confusion and evil... What is it that I miss? My friends... my real family. >'< Hee hee... I hope that makes sense. Here's to you all out there... >'<
  23. I think I'll give you a chance to re-inflate and skip the hug, despite the fact i generally do the same thing anyway. Yep, I noticed that you spelled a few things wrong and that you didn't quite nail the punctuation right, but it's a great poem. I'm dark enough to tell you that if that's what you want to do though... as many times, even as of late I wish I could exercise the versatility of my motley collection of sharp objects. But, hopefully you'll do the right thing. Good poem, I can relate. >*_*<
  24. Go charlotte, it's your birthday We gonna party like it's your birthday... *record scratching* Uh, right. Thanks you guys, as well as best wishes and a Merry Christmas to Lady Celes, and Starlighten... wrong time of year. *Accepts meow from Peredhil* I'll make good use of this... Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow. (Inauguration speech as Damon announces his candidacy for president of the cheese factory.) Thanks! ><
  25. Well... I seriously doubt that I have had any sort of demand, or even a light request for my presence, but I still stake my return, as well as a plethora-ish of new ideas and a newfound spiritual one-ness. While I'm not the karate king 200 year old sage, I've still had some time to contemplate a few things... Like, if priests know that dinasaurs exist now, why don't they revise the Bible? (Not intended to be a contraversial question, and I apologize if it offends anyone.) Anyhow, I've got less than a week until I start life with a clean criminal slate, and all of my charges with underage drinking and peddling drugs go away... (I don't really drink, nor push drugs... I'm Mr. Goody-Two-Shoes...) Anyhow, as you might have guessed, I'm turning eighteen and I will soon be enjoying the wonders of lacking free time due to employment and school and this Job Corps thingy. So, while my writing may be far and few between until I can stop using the library's computers and get my own, I have come to let all of you know that I'm back. (Geez, this feels so OOC... hold please...) ... ... ... ... ... To be perfectly blunt, I missed all of you very dearly, one person in particular, and I'm glad to be back to the Pen. I finally have a place to write and be happy, sad, whatever, again. So, you'll be seeing just a little more of me for the next month or so until I move out on my own. (YAY!!! ><) It's... it's good to be back. (Please open another freestyle section... MEOW!!!)
