Start out slowly, like you're holding back tears 'cause you've had a bad day)) I want things to be the way they were, Back when I was completely sure. Everything that happened was okay, For surely tommorrow is better than today. Then the glass rematerialized between Us, threw back at me a reflective sheen. I resented it, wanted to pound against it But how could I? So I'll just sit... ((gradually get faster and louder as you go along, like you're working up to a yelling match)) As much as I miss you, Love you, want you: I can't see you, glass is too cloudy to see through. Talk to me! I need you! Where are You?! You're like a shooting star! I see you, speak, and you're gone... Why do you avoid me?! Just one. One more try and I'll give up. NO! No I won't! Everyone else LET UP! I can't take this pressure, Why, why must you measure Me with your hating eyes And laugh at my tries As if I meant to fall!? I think I'm losing it all! And you, you espically Blaming despicably. Am I to blame for Depression thats yours? I DON'T THINK SO! I know I tow Too many Too many worries ((scattered, like you've yelled and this is between breaths)) I have far too many Open wounds Pointless stories Everything is so surreal Maybe if I reach out, Happiness I can steal. Nah, try to catch light You can't Lost sight... Do I really want it All back? It can't be the same Is it worth all my worry? Who knows... Anyone beside me care? Peredhil Posted February 25, 2002 Report Share Posted February 25, 2002 Expressive. The angst reminds me of some of my "Bad-Mood" bands. Strangely enough, Peredhil is listening to the Offspring in the background even as he writes. I do like the formatting codes, since I like to read the poetry/songs aloud to myself.
