Snypiuer Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago Snypiuers' niece plays violin and percussion in school and taught herself a little guitar. So, when we learned there was going to be a School of Rock opening in town, we signed her up before they even found a location and she was the first student when they did a preopening. She's learning keyboard and vocal and Snypiuer takes her to her classes. Snypiuer COULD go in, but Snypiuer is violently lazy so, when he drops her off, Snypiuer blasts the radio full blast and yells, "ROCK ON!!!" until she gets inside and then he naps until she's done. Snypiuers' niece listens to everything from 50's Golden Oldies to todays' music as well as Mariachi and Country (she actually attended an Elton John concert while still in a stroller - Snypiuer has never seen Elton John in concert), anyways, Snypiuer will quiz her on what is playing on the radio and she's pretty good at it. The other day Snypiuers' sister was able to take her to her class (she goes in with her when she takes her), afterwards she called Snypiuer from the car on speaker. Sister: Hey, we're done. we're going to stop for some food, want anything? Snypiuer: A burger or whatever, doesn't matter. How'd the class go? Sister: Pretty good. Ask your niece what they played. Snypiuer: What'd you play? Niece: A song by a band called Wood Fleet Mac. *Silence* Snypiuer: *Finally* The band with the singer Nicky Steves? Niece: Yeah! *Even longer silence* Snypiuer: I am sooo disappointed. Sister: Sadness. Niece: What!? Snypiuer: I think I'll go cry now. Sister: You made your uncle cry! Niece: Why!? Snypiuer: I may have to perform Hara Kiri to restore the family honor. Niece: But we're not Chinese. Snypiuer: And the family shame grows. Sister: Your uncle may be gone by the time we get home. Niece: *High pitched, whispery, obviously fake and sarcastic concerned voice* Oh no! Does that mean I can have his burger? She ate half my fries before they got home. Quote
