Meditations about time.
Time has no meaning here.
Nothing has truly changed.
The sun rises and sets,
Men are born and men die,
The ever turning great wheel
Crushes us all under its great weight.
Star gazers.
Jaded lovers.
Forgotten dreams
In comas.
Kicking screaming children
Crying for their mothers.
Time has changed nothing.
Only the numbers in our head.
The lovely girls playing with their toys.
Drunken fathers beating mothers.
Grieving widows, cashing monthly checks.
Time has changed nothing except the numbers in our mind.
A blade of grass
A floating leaf
A lazy fish
Frogs leaping catching flies
Drops of rain eating stone away.
Time has changed nothing except the world

p.s I never lived it up with models and hollywood stars lol

I think this poem rings true about alot of teenage relationships. Each sex trying to find the trophey bf or gf. no one wins in those situations. I should know I've lived it up with models and hollywood stars, but I was never truley happy..... ...I whish. see what I mean wanting what we do not truley want. Number one examle right here. (points to self) great poem

I think we have all been there when we know some one but go our seperate ways. Some times we go back to the same grounds which we shared with that some one n hopes of finding some trace of that person.
Buteven if we find that person it is very hard to rekindel what wonce was.

the poem was written in two parts and I hadnt re-read the 1st part when wrote the second. I wanted to see how my mind would work from the bts of the poem I remebered and how it would put it all togther.

thanks brother simmers, when I wrote I didnt think about it that way but it works, I was thinking about a young girl who was pregnant and thinking of having and abortion. And that she could give the child away instead of ending a life. I like what you saw in it hope to hear more form you ol friend.

I enjoy the unwillingness of the subject to accept what life has put in his/her path and strike out on his/her own not knowing whats out there. It also made me think of food lines for the homeless and the great deppresion. Its a great poem.

Why do you look at me like that?
Why must I be?
A ghost,
I’m empty with out you.
I’ve no reason to live.
You were like light,
Like water,
Like air.
With out you I die,
Slowly
The sun cruel
The water salty
The air poison
And what should I do?
If in your arms I’m not,
If I my arms you are not.
My life, your life
Are like two roads
Together
But separate
And like two roads we have different destinations different and unique
The only thing I can do.
Is say good-bye.

¿Por que me miras asi?
¿Por qué tengo que ser?
Un Fantasma.
Estoy vacio sin ti,
No tengo por que vivir.
Eras como luz,
Como agua
Como aire
Sin ti me muero,
Lentamente,
El sol cruel
El agua sala
El aire veneno
¿Y que debo hacer?,
Si en tus brazos no estoy,
Si en los mios no estas
Mi vida tu vida
Son como dos calles
Juntas,
Pero separada,
Y como dos calles tenemos destinos differente y unicos.
Lo unico que pudo hacer
Es dicer adios.

I once knew a girl,
Raised in the woods.
Her words to me sounded like doves.
Cooing in my ears.
We kissed in darkened rooms.
Holding each other in long embrace.
Like a fool I broke away.
She must have thought I played with her heart.
But no,
I played with my own.
She flew away into strange arms.
While I fell into myself,
Destroying what was left
Brooding and regretting what I had lost.
I went out and fell away from it all.
Now shadows dance in my face.
A lonely specter,
A forgotten shadow.
A vanished face.

Life.
You hold in your hands
Something truly dear.
A life growing,
Yes it was thrust into your life.
A sudden jolt.
But please hold on and bring her in.
Then let her go.

Thanks Regel I love it. When I wrote it I wrote it in the moment and forgot to go over it again. Your version is lovely. I think its more calming. thanks

Excellent post Master P. I think people fear not the response but the concept of the negative response. The concept brings fear the idea. When you understand the root the concept the rest falls into place. hehehe I don't make any sense, not even to myself lol. CYA later
O I get my self evertime....lol

Cold spray on my face
Cold spray on my face.
Shaky hands on chest.
Frantic lips on my lips.
Body’s cold.
I can’t feel my toes.
Been a long time coming.
My life just caught up with me.
I thought I could out run it.
God was I wrong.
Mellow jazz streams out of an old speaker
The kind of music that makes you think,
Of smoke filled speak ezys
And the sound of quiet brandy shots being slid across the bar.
A blur, a blinding blur.
I ran so fast for so long.
No I’ve stopped.
Dead in my tracks.
And the rest of the world shot forward.
Tears in her eyes,
She’ll find someone else,
I’ve seen it happen before.
Hopefully someone better.
This isn’t how I wanted.
Not how it was intended.
Just my luck,
I tripped and fell
Only to let life caught up with me.

I guess I should add a translation so here we go.
Sky so dark,
Evil night
the blood f the dead
run through the eyes
of the living
Nothing grows
they work for salvation
your god abandoned you
just like a dog
just like bastard
don't follow me
my path brings death
I warned you
take catuion

Oscuro el cielo,
Noche mala,
la sangre de los muertos,
corre por los ojos,
de los vivos.
No creece nada,
no servin para salvar.
Tu dios te abandono
tan como pero,
tan como cabron.
No me cigas.
mi camino trae muerte.
Te avise
tenga cuidado.
My (sp) in spansih and english sux ppl so bear with me.

Clever double triple speak,
words cloaked in the very shadows they illuminate.
One word often meaning two.

Alone and Away
Here she is the doll of the ball.
Holding the hem in hand.
She stared at a man not to far of,
Dreaming about his hands,
Undoing the lace,
that held her bodice in place.
Sinnful dreams of lonely girl.
Standing in place, holding herself.
Her chests rise and fall with each breath.
A prince looms close by.
His breath inches from her left.
She can feel his skin pressed against hers,
She can taste salty sweet lips.
Here the Ball and it's dolls,
hansome and dashing men of honor
ravashing beautyful dangers curves.
Lips that shine,
Hips that sway.
Slow and fast the tempo all night
Emotions and ungodly acts.
Men and Women disregrading marriage vows,
laying next to other wed men.
The last note played.
The dancers disperse.
To chambers not there own.
Some in pairs some in bunch,
and still others in hordes to the rooms.
A Collection.
