  1. This poem hits the nail on the head for me, thanks for writing it.
  2. Love is a thing of evil, Told in the tales of time, As something the gods despise. In one story, Man was lonely, Seeing this, Made Prometheus, Sad. So he took it, Upon himself, And stole passion, From the gods. The gods got upset, And put him away, For life, And all he did, Was give us, The flames. So I see this, As a sign, Meaning, Love is a thing of evil, Told in the tales of time, As something the gods despise. In another story, Adam and eve were dolls, Seeing this, Made the Devil, Sad. So he took it, Upon himself, And stole a rose, From God. God got upset, And put him away, For life, And all he did, Was give us, The knowledge of love. So I see this, As a sign, Meaning, Love is a thing of evil, Told in the tales of time, As something the gods despise. In the last story, You were so alone, Seeing this, Made me, Sad. So I took it, Upon myself, And stole my heart, From God. God might get upset, And put me away, For life, And all I did, Was give you, My passionate love.
  3. Sand slips away, Through the glass, Showing how much time has passed. And with every grain, I make a wish, That when you open your eyes, You will see pass, All my lies, And embrace me again. And the sand, Mimics the stars in the sky, Which makes a tear, Fall from my eye. And to the stars I cry, Asking them to be your guide, Leading you back to me. While the tear from my eye, Falls into the sea, Showing a reflection of you standing behind me.
  4. Trust me that line haunts me so much but I can't find something to replace it so I left it, also thanks for fixing my poor spelling.
  5. It took you a long time, To build up the strength, To ask him to take your hand. And he said, "I don't have time for games, The world shall remain the same. I am not beautiful, Nor will I ever be." With that he turned and left, As you instantly collapsed, And tears filled your eyes really fast. Slowly time passed by, The gleam left your eyes, So I asked you to take my hand. And you said, "I don't have time for games, The world shall remain the same. I am not beautiful, Nor will I ever be." I turned to leave, As you repeated the words that came out of your mouth, And with that you let out a gasp, And asked for me to take your hand. And I said, "I always have time for games, The world shall not remain the same. You are beautiful, And you always will be."
  6. Tomorrow will be a dream come true, As I take a walk with you. Through the field of flowers where the bees happily buzz. Into the forest where the birds perch to sing. Up in the mountains where the wolves howl at the full moon. And to the waterfall where we will fall in love. But what would happen to tomorrow, If yesterday didn't lead to today. Would the flowers not bloom for the bees to buzz. Would the perch not exist for the birds to sing. Would the moon not shine for the wolves to howl. And would we not fall in love. That won't happen, Because yesterday I went out and found. A field of flowers that made me buzz. A forest of perches that made me sing. A mountain that made me see the full moon. And a waterfall that made me wish I was in love. Today I will ask you, If you like to go on a walk tomorrow. Where the bees buzzed around the flowers. Where the birds perched to sing. Where the wolves howled at the full moon. And where you will fall in love. And you will say yes.
