  1. Opal Eyes The vines begin to choke for a heart that bleeds in thorns the poison slowly drips passing through the veins Breathing slowly the dragon's breath tarnishing around the edges truth is sought among the brambles Spoken is the word of silence rest not your weary souls lest the dreamscape swallow it up beyond the night of the raven The Raven Moon casts a shadow only the graveyard dance will uncover the mystery hidden beyond.
  2. Very suspenseful, I cannot wait to see what happens next. So far it seems like an intresting idea, that drew me right in, and it was very well written. Good work The only thing I would say, is that the part in the middle, when we find out just how he met Rose, thier computer messages, it is a little confusing at first, that that is a flashback more or less, and it took me a while to figure out what was going on with that. Perhaps you could make that part a little more clear. But other then that, it was really good.
  3. This is done in the style known as Tyburn. I do not write in this style very often, becasue it can come off as being a somewhat ugly and awakard style, as well as challanging to work with. But now and then I do like to do different things, and so I decidied to play around with it. The Nameless Painless Stainless Shameless Nameless In the stainless sky stands the nameless gives a shameless oath to be painless.
  4. Thank you very much. I would have to agree with you reguarding the line ridden and I admit that one was somewhat forced to fit into the rhyme. I could not think of anything else at the moment, that would fit in with the poem, that rhymed with Hidden and Forebidden.
  5. The Midnight Witch Cloaked within the veil of midnight hair her eyes seemed to cast shadows upon the wall and none could escape her eternal stare she would be the one to bring the downfall in silence she would beckon those who dare upon their knees to her they come at a crawl and so she sang sweetly into the night cast in the flickering dance of candle light Her voice would bring the stars trembling in lust concealed in darkness she remains hidden with a single touch she will turn all to dust her fruits when offered are always forbidden of those judged unworthy she would ridden so sinister her eyes filled with the sky and always her rose red lips speak a lie Beware when midnight strikes and you hear her song only with a glance she will invoke desire and from there your waiting doom will not come long for within you she will light her fire no longer you will be aware of the wrong only with your death she will conspire into the dark unknown she weaves her dance and you prepare to take up your last stance.
  6. The Bleeding Every night I lay in bed not sleeping and every fight has to have a reason while everyday I lost another part of myself all the time I lay there dreaming trying to find a way to understand and every right has to be taken so we all are left crying I find myself always dying trying to hold on just looking for something but never is it enough to try and stop the bleeding
  7. Wow I really like this one. It is very sad but paints such a vivid picture.
  8. Winter Bloom Shadows are drifting by darkling shadows graveyard rose blooms in the winter graveyard whispers of the wind bring in night whispers weeping willows dance to ravens weeping darkness falling softly into darkness hushed wing beats create ravens hush silver rains fall from moons silver bleeding not from the thorns ever bleeding fear not the gathering but breathe the fear dance in devils light the eternal dance haunted is the howl for the haunted silent songs for the stars so silent falling softly memories ever falling winter roses bloom in snowy winter.
  9. Very touching and emotionaly provocative. I rather enjoyed it. Nice job with the rhyme scheme, it flowed very well.
  10. This is done in a form known as a Shadow Sonnet that was created by a poet frined of mine Loving You Forever I'm holding you forever never would I let you go never tender you kiss me I hold you tender eyes full of love I look you in the eyes sweet is my laughter for your words so sweet bound together we are forever bound hand clasped in your warmth you hold my hand you are my only one always I'm with you all that you are you are my one and all embrace me with your eternal embrace we stay together meant to be one are we whisper in my ear sweet whisper tempting me softly your eyes so tempting love you forever, you I always love
  11. Thank you very much, I look foward to sharing my poetry here
  12. Wow, I really like this. Nicely done
  13. There was a rose it bloomed only under the moon while its vines dug in deep each thorn pulsed with blood as the blossom gorges upon itself ever fuller it grows the seed implanted deep within while it awaits to birth open aromatic sweetness tinged with bitter. Soon each petal would slip away falling like winter rain until the stalk is left bare with only one sweet memory of what once had been. So the song is sung that never had been heard with the winds passage fires burn bright in the skies while the moon is blinded and so her lover must pale scorched by viscous sunlight.
