TLDunn213 Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 (edited) Bowsette is typically just Bowser using a magic crown to become a female. I however want a Bowsette who is a real person in her own right. So to that end I've come up with this backstory. Disclaimer: I'm not deeply steeped in Mario/Nintendo lore. So my creation is likely to be flawed. Basic idea. Bowser wants Peach but she doesn't want him. So with the help of his wizards and the magic crown Bowser is going to create a bride for himself. Step 1 collect genetic samples from Peach (and possibly the other Princess) and himself. Step 2 use the Crown to become female and lay an egg. Step 3 introduced the genetic samples thus fertilizing and modifying the egg. Step 4 incubate and hatch the egg in a time chamber where Bowsette can grow up to the desired age. Several years in the Chamber in just a few days in the "real" world. Bowser places his Wizards in the Time Chamber to raise Bowsette to be his ideal mate. A Magic Mirror is provided to allow Bowsette to observe the "real" world as if she were living in the past so she will be caught up with events as if she'd been born (hatched) that many years ago. The Crown is also placed in the Time Chamber, for safe keeping. As it has served its purpose. Anyway things do not go as planned. By age 10 Bowsette is skilled enough at magic to put her wizard tutors under a sleep spell at night so she can study their spellbooks at her own pace and use the Magic Mirror to watch events without their narration. By age 13 Bowsette has developed a huge crush on Mario along with a strong dislike for Peach. She has also learned of her origins and Bowser's plans for her future. And decided that she wants a very different future for herself. And has decided that Bowser is definitely Dad and not future Husband. By age 18 Bowsette has learned of other Realities and powerful Artifacts including the Tri-Force, the Chaos Emerald, and the Ocarina of Time. And is working on a Spell to turn the Magic Mirror into a Door rather than just a Window. At age 21 Bowsette escapes the Time Chamber. (Now I just need to figure out when and where she escaped to and what her next move is. Bowsette takes the Crown with her because I'm thinking of giving Boosette an origin as well. Just a much simpler one.) Edited April 25 by TLDunn213 1 Quote
Snypiuer Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 O.K., I was a little worried there for a while until she realizes Bowser is actually her dad - although, I believe, there IS an argument that she COULD be considered a clone! I have even less Mario knowledge so, no idea how this fits . . . but like the concept! 1 Quote
TLDunn213 Posted 11 hours ago Author Report Posted 11 hours ago Yes. Technically she is a modified clone as the majority of her DNA is from Bowser regardless of how that DNA was obtained and processed. And one can assume that any flaws would be screened out along the way thus eliminating inbreeding issues. As to moral grounds Bowser is a badguy and she was created for a specific purpose. So, he's not going to have any problems with it. Bowsette, has a problem with it because she wants Mario and wasn't brainwashed enough growing up and likely feels she would be treated like a servant if she were to become his bride. In any event it's basically a moot point given the storyline I'm playing around with. As to clones in general it's hard to work out relationships in terms of their DNA sorce; child or sibling or something else? Take X23 in Marvel comics for example is she Wolverine's kid sister or his daughter or is there something else to consider 🤔 Personally I think it's a coin flip between the first two. 1 Quote
Snypiuer Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I've always considered clones to be the child of its' source DNA, siblings if they share the same source DNA and cousins if their source DNA is from sibling clones - kind of like vampires. Quote
