Wyvern Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 Nice poem, Vlad. :-) I like how it alternates between making us feel sympathy for the narrator and making us feel that he got the dejection he deserved. There's something likeable about the way that he waits for his loved one for hours, but the veil of sympathy is lifted in the last three lines of the poem. I like how you incorporate that voyeuristic element into the piece, as the hanging camera gives the relationship a whole new dimension in the end.
