Marchin Ants

err...guess I'm starting to get a tad stressy...

Marchin Ants

Into my ears, and out my mouth

Stamping feet, Crazy beat

Marching dance, flapping hands

Wanna flap the marching out

Think I’ll go outside and shout

Shout that I will so freak out

Freak out with the marching beat

Of thousand little stamping feet

Into my mouth, and out my ears

Gonna go and hide my tears

Hide and shout, please get out

Freaking hands, crazy dance

Flicking at the marching feet

Gotta break this friggan beat

Stamping beat, crazy feet

Out and in, and in and out

Maybe I should close my mouth

Close my mouth to scream and shout

Flailing hands, sickly dance

Shout my tears, and cry my ears

Cannot stop these crazy fears

Freaking out, better shout

Stop!

After some revising and rereading (man writing is relaxing!) together with Morgane, some changes to be made :)

Marchin Ants

Into my ears, and out my mouth

Stamping feet, Crazy beat

Marching dance, kicking hands

Wanna kick the marching out

Think I’ll go outside and shout

Shout that I will so freak out

Freak out with the marching beat

Of thousand little stamping feet

Into my mouth, and out my ears

Gonna go and hide my tears

Hide and shout, please get out

Flogging hands, crazy dance

Flicking at the marching feet

Gotta break this friggan beat

Stamping beat, crazy feet

Out and in, and in and out

Maybe I should close my mouth

Close my mouth to scream and shout

Flailing hands, sickly dance

Shout my tears, and cry my ears

I read this entire piece smiling. I grew up as a kid with out Nintendo, computers or even cable and spent many an hour watching the marching of these tiny creatures feet. My fanscination was as great as the phobia you decribe in the poem.

Alive or dead the idea of ants methodically marching in one opening and out the other would drive me insane.

I very much like the pace and the venacular you used to illustrate the anxiety. A wonderfully odd piece. :)

*chuckles* It was driving me insane at the time. Those are the moments I am really thankful I can write most of it out :)

Huh. And I saw the whole thing as an analogy to the never-ceasing stream of events that life will throw at you...

Either way, it was enjoyable.

- Katz, stopping by on the way to a WW post...

Well, they get caused by those things life will throw at you, and maybe they are those things. I know this only happens to me, when I'm at the point of being so busy that you just do nothing, because you've lost overview.

*shudders* I read and felt the ants good one sweet

*grins* yay...err...sorry, but they were supposed to do that ;)

Thanks guys ^_^
