Appy Posted October 30, 2004 Report Share Posted October 30, 2004 ~ a simple one.. no master-piece ~ I sit in the kitchen smoking my cigarette sipping the second cup of coffee On the roof outside a leaf rolling down the slope of tiles a tiny bird! Hopping down, and up again this tiny bird looking like a leaf being played with by the wind Unfocusing my eyes I smile at this display of bravery and courage on the roof A fly comes into view buzzing before my window orating his ordeals more flies! They disagree, commotion one takes up the stand challenges the original speaker of the day All join in the fray Chattering and bickering it's becomming a mess Two locked in heavy debate as flies do The songs are all around Chiming in my head Displaying beauty just one glance away You just have to see what's there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
