The Great Pie War, as it was later called, had only lasted for 5 minutes but to me it seemed a life time. Curse the one who scheduled this school pie fair. My friend John looked me in the eye, he looked tired. I knew what he was about to do and i knew i would miss him. "Take care of my girlfriend, Joe" he said and then he rose and charged with pie in hand. "Calculators are forever!" he yelld before he fell. I jumped and dodged pies here and there until I reached his side and dragged him behind a table. "Man Down!" I yelled. "You will fight the good fight, right Joe?" he said.
