  1. OOC: how many posts and no accusations yet? Am I the first? IC: Abraham Cartrwight makes another pull on his pipe. 'Such a group of nice of folks. Hard to believe that one of us was a killer. 'That fellow Nathaniel seems an odd fellow. 'So worried about his family, his new life, his future. 'Is he worried enough to do _anything_ to protect it? 'Seems so. 'I'll talk to him tonight, take his measure. 'Hope he's a friendly sort, wouldn't want his manner to shade my judgement.' "C'mon boys, bring the pie I baked. We're going to share a meal with the Bluetts. Yes, Adam, that girl Cat can join us if she's a mind. We have plenty. Go and invite her." OOC: vote for Merelas~~Nathaniel Bluett More later, Vahktang
  2. "Well, Mr. Yates, I'm certainly glad we have an old hand on the trail like you to guide us. "Care for some coffee?" More later, Vahktang
  3. Yuh talked me out of Nevada.I'll settle in Washinton. Logging, furs, land. Could use some more coffee, though. Loved the Hoot Gibson stuff. Could almost see you spit tobocco in the middle of that speech. More later, Vahktang
  4. Abraham looks over the empty plains, grass as far as the eye can see, interrupted by a lone tree here and there, buffalo roaming, antelope playing. A good land. Peaceful. More later, Vahktang
  5. Well, that's pretty obvious. On another trip across the plains you were abandoned by you train. You were given one bullet to commit suicide when it became too bad. You escaped that fate and now save the bullet for the leader of the train who abandoned you. How's that? Well, you have to go through Nevada to get to Frisco, right? And I understand that there are silver strikes in the Ponderosa area. More later, Vahktang
  6. Mutiny And western Let's do both at the same time. I think Gnarlitch is way too sane. Has anyone ever done two games at once? We can stagger the response time. Any takers? If not, Mutiny. Lord Jim, a former midshipman, defrocked for a crime he won't admit too, now a member of the crew. He still dreams (and schemes?) of his own ship, his own crew, and a trade of copra from the south seas to England. Western Abraham Cartwight taking my boys, Adam, Eric, and Joseph to Nevada to start a ranch, mining, and farming empire. Three times a widower, each of the boys had a different mom (and they all looked like the same person ) More later, Vahktang
  7. Thank you for the explanation, Gnarlitch. Glad you had fun, anyway. Have fun on the next one. More later, Vahktang
  8. Died three weeks out, too late to turn back.It was an arranged marriage anyway, and you are determined to set up you own life. How's that? And when is this game supposed to start anyway? The last one is over. More later, Vahktang
  9. Thank you for the commentary. I had fun too. Glad you did. Watch the skies is a more cautionary, something bad is coming from an unexpected direction. I tried to do a 'choose peace' even though you have to do some questionable things. Or possible 'choose responsibility' and take the consequences. More of 'The day the earth stood still'. Hope I conveyed that a little. See you next game. More later, Vahktang
  10. Greg calls Jamia out into the hallway to discuss his accusations. "Away from the boy," he says. The conversation is heated, Greg trying his darndest to keep the conversation flowing as the others observe from a distance, as Greg had planned, the flickering flourescent being unnoticed by the young woman. Suddenly there is a grinding sound and Jamia looks as the heavy door begins to slam shut, and is amazed as Greg drops and rolls under the door barely not being crushed. He goes to get up and notices he is caught, his jacket caught in the jam. "Dirk. You must have a knife. Cut me free." The others approach, Dirk producing a knife from somewhere and begins to free Greg. "Good plan, Greg," Dirk says, "wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself." "Adjusting the lights was difficult, gimmicking the door was easier, but that section of the hall is sealed off and the doors are more than a foot thick of good american, hardened steel. That should keep it held until the authorities come and we can capture and study that thing in wolves clothing." Timmy has his hand against the large door and brings it back quickly, putting his fingers into his mouth. "Hot." The others look and see a small spot on the door, a pinprick, glowing red, then quickly widening. "It's burning through," says Tom, amazed, "and quickly, too," as the hot spot is now the size of a quarter. "It would take our best torches over an hour to make that effect." "We leave," says Dirk, "now." "Out into that rain," says Zach. "No, into the complex. Separate. Hide," he says, looking at Timmy, then Zach. "Try and find a weapon," he says to the others. The point in the door was now the size of a small saucer, with the center white. "Move." The group moves out, Zach taking care of Timmy as that is what his sisters would have wanted, the other men taking different routes away. Heinrich is reclining as best he can in the corridor, taking the last dregs of the Mountain Dew that Allegeny janitor had hidden, trying to look both ways at once. It had not been a good night. And he was hearing things. It took him a moment to recognize the tune. "That's Beethoven." He gets up and follows the sound until he gets to an exterior hatchway and looks through the viewing window, seeing Greta. "Greta!" "Open the door, Heinrich. The automatics are nonfunctional." Heinrich begins the process of manual opening and nearly babbles. "It's been bad, Greta. An alien, a wolf thing, it has been killing left and right, those pretty twins are dead, they all finally turned on me as they turned on you..." "I understand, Heinrich. Do not worry." The door finally opens to reveal Greta in the long hallway and a dozen men armed with heavy weapons, BAR's and Bazooka, grenades clipped to extra ammo belts. "I brought the marines." Greg is back in the huge equipment room, looking to try and remake the trap that did in the alien's companion, finding all the winches are now broken. Suddenly the intercom comes to life, Jamia's voice coming in clear and loud. "You are all in danger." "Yeah, from you," says Zach. "Well, yes, but not me personally, Zach," says Jamia. Zach and Timmy stop and look around expecting her to be right next to them, but Jamia is now outside equipment room 102, working on the door with something that looks like a sonic screwdriver. She still looks like the fresh, human teenager, but is dressed in a silver jumper with a large jeweled belt, and some sort of headset that allows her to speak and hear over the intercom system. She opens the door and fresh air comes into the room, reawakening Ed. The blower had come on at specific intervals keeping him alive but unconscious. He looks up at Jamia. "This complex is powered by a crude atomic pile," she says, and Ed nods, not quite knowing what was happening. "I've set it to overload. When it does, this entire complex will become dangerously radioactive, unusable by any humans for decades. You must leave the complex." Jamia leaves and Ed staggers up and begins to move unsteadily towards the nearest exit. "But the rain..." says Greg. "It's nothing now, won't even cause an irritation," says Jamia, walking quickly down the corridor and reaching the infimery. "You killed my sisters," says Timmy, as Zach tries to quiet him, then the two move quickly away. "I did kill," says Jamia, taking a syringe and plunging it into Kerri's arm, then doing the same to Terri. Terri gasps and Kerri begins to cough. "And for that I must be punished, and I will. But I never killed on purpose." "Talk to your brother," Jamia, says to the twins. "Timmy," they say raggedly, in chorus and in key, looking around and wondering. "Kerri, Terri," says Timmy, leaping out of Zach's hold, and running down the corridor, Zach in fast persuit. Jamia leaves the infirmery, still talking. "I was the one that pronounced Terri dead. She wasn't really. I slipped a pill to Kerri to mimic death. I'm sorry Kerri, but you wouldn't have done anything drastic without my specific influence in you mind. You're not suicidal." "This is all some trick, to get us out," says Dirk. "Not a trick, a feat," says Jamia, reaching cold storage. She opens the door and looks in, Aiden, and the remainder of the soldiers, missing since the first day look out sullenly. She quickly leaves. "And I have the audacity to ask for your help. You're very smart, all of you, especially you, Greta." Greta stops and curses in German, the marines behind her looking around at the strangeness of it all. "But sometimes you are too smart and not enough wise. The Q bomb is dangerous, too dangerous." Jamia stops in front of the door, the door behind which Albert died. "My study of your plans showed that with this sucessfull test a full size test was planned. A full size test will crack this planet to the core." Smoke is coming off of the door and it is hot to the touch, the equipment inside having been burning since the bomb went off some days ago, the temperature inside Jamia estimates at over 6,000 degrees. "Ending life on Earth. It will take millions of years for life to come back, and there will be no remnant of your civilization." She removes her belt, deactivating her forcefield. "Use what happened here, your emotions, your intellect, your powers of persuasion. Talk to your leaders, speak to everyone. Do not build another bomb like that. Choose peace." Timmy finds the twins walking in a corridor, searching for him. He leaps into their arms and they catch him, Zach catching up and joining them in the hug, tears touching every eye. "You won't escape," says Greta, motioning Ed and the newly arrived Dirk to join their group. "My spaceship," says Jamia, sitting down, resting across from the door. "It had a scuttle charge. You will not be getting any technology from us. The soldiers in their car guarding it willl probably attest to themselves watching it lift off and it exploding in the air." An alarm begins to go off, red lights flashing up and down the corridor. Greg, Aiden and the soldiers join Zach and the siblings. "That's an emergency in the atomic pile," says the captain. "Yes, it is an emergency in the pile, captain," says Jamia. "And let me assure you that you have no chance to reach it before it goes. And no chance to fix it at all once there. Order your men out." The captain calculates and looks at his men, as the officer of the marines does the same. "Think of the civilians," says Jamia. The officers order a retreat as Jamia listens to them leave. "I do greatly regret one thing that happened," she says, as everyone goes towards the exits. "The only one I killed was Albert. He was supposed to escape with the others, exiting the room safely. There is one penalty for what I did amoung my people. My death. I'm truly sorry for his death." Terri sobs, but keeps moving, the group finally reaching the outside and seeing dark, cloudy skies but no rain. "What about the original Jamia, and that actor," says Greta, their group also reaching the outside. "Sheltered in a small cave near my craft crash site. They came awake when my ship destroyed itself. They have probably reached the guards by now." The doors behind them begin to close and seal. "I thought you said the automatics were non-functional," says Heinrich. "Not to their technology, it seems," says Greta. "Oh, what we could have learned." Jamia listens intently throughout the complex. All outside vents are also closed, the comlex is sealed. It is empty, except for her. She signals and a number of small bombs go off. A minute later the atomic pile goes with a small explosion and radioactivity floods the complex touching every surface. Jamia feels the heat as it covers her. The two groups gather together and make their way towards the heavy helicopters that brought Greta and the marines. They pack in, crowded, but they all fit, as the helicopters lift off. Jamia sniffs. 'Too long as a human, living in their minds, reading their thoughts and emotions.' She looks up and down the corridor, and checks her list one last time. She signals the bomb on the door, the one that will crack it open releasing the fiery death upon her. "I hope they listen." 14. A voice in the dark: "I'm not waiting around for some trap to kill me, or for you to trap me," says Heinrich. "I'm leaving." No one says a thing to stop him. "Well," says Dirk, "one angry armed German, one bloodthirsty alien. Reminds me of Bolivia." "I can't see what I'm eating," says Timmy. "Kitchen still has light, we'll finish in there," says Tom. "Don't feel much like eating," says Kerri. "Nobody does," says Jamia. "Stay away from me," says Kerri. Jamia is about to say something but stops. They all exit to the kitchen. During dinner, an echo of several gunshots can be heard. After a pause, everyone continures to eat in silence. "We may as well turn in," says Greg, after what was eaten was finished. "But not separetly," says Zach. "Same room. For protection. And so we can watch each other." Everyone agrees, eventually, and a large room with a single bathroom is found and used. Everyone makes themselves as comfortable as possible, despite the crowded conditions. In the morning, everyone wakes up uneasily, having gotten just a few minutes of restless sleep. When Timmy goes for his morning 'wake up the sisters by jumping on them' tradition, she doesn't respond. At all. "K-Kerri...," says Timmy. Heinrich was an innocent. The wolf got Kerri. Let's accuse before breakfast. It is now morning. This should last less than an hour. Next lynching should be done by Tuesday morning. More later, Vahktang

  17. Aiden wandered the halls seemingly aimlessly. 'Who was the second alien? 'Why was it so hard to find? 'What was it's purpose here? 'Just killing off humans makes no logical or scientific sense. There must be some larger reason.' He comes to a dead end and is puzzled for a moment looking about at his surroundings. It's dim and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. And the blowers seem to be off, sounding too much like an eight foot tall alien werewolf behind him. "Oh." He turns and is unsurprised to find himself facing the slavering beast before him dressed in a silver jumper with a jeweled belt. The beast raises it's hand to strike. "Wait, wait. Don't I even get to know who you are before I die?" It silently shakes it's head no. Aiden reaches into his pocket and pulls out his switchblade, flicking it open with practiced ease, holding it underhanded as he had been taught. It was for protection, and though he had practiced, he had never used it on another person in earnest. "Come get some." ... The group gathers again for yet another meal, the remaining siblings already at the table, Timmy clinging to his sister as if one is the life preserver of the other. Tom and Heinrich bring in the meal, Aiden and Zach having agreed to clean up and Greg and Jamia agreeing to do the the dishes later. Dirk had arranged the schedule. As the platters were being put down and people were seating themselves Kerri looks around suddenly frightened. "Where's Aiden?" "Bathrooms," someone suggests. "Still in the kitchen, I think," says one. "I last saw him in the motor pool," says another. "Find him," says Kerri, close to hysterical but holding on. After a quick consultation, Greg and Jamia go to the infirmery, searching there and on the way back, while Tom, Dirk, and Heinrich do a quick search of the rest of the complex. Greg and Jamia return with no news but a small bottle of pills, giving two to Kerri to take. "Are they candy," says Timmy, hopefully. "No, honey," says Jamia, "they're medicine to help your sister." "Slight sedatives," says Greg. Kerri looks at the pills dully, remembering her last encounter with pills. She looks at the two, receives concern and encouragement, then downs two with some juice. A few minutes later the search party comes back, bearing Aiden's leather jacket. "He never takes that off," says Zach. "All we found," says Tom. "At a dead end," says Dirk. "So, it seems the young lady is correct," says Heinrich. "There is another. Who could it be?" The wolf got another one. Accusations will occur over and arround dinner. No one leaves the room until a majority is reached. What's everybody eating? Day phase will occur over dinnertime. Lynching will occur on Friday. More later, Vahktang

  19. "So that's the way it is, huh," says Ed. "You're all a bunch of fellow travellers to accuse a good american like myself, selflessly serving his country. "Fine. "I'll be going to equipment room 102. You can lock me in. And when rescue comes I'll tell everything, just like at the HUAC. And I'm taking our last packet of cigarettes in with me." The group leads Ed into equipment room 102, storage for couches and mattresses, located at the farthest end of the complex. They search for other exits and find only a small blower leading to the surface, impossible for anything larger than a rat to go through. They seal him in and return to the mess hall, many stopping off to check the radio room, visit the bathrooms, check equipment, etc, on the way. Ed makes himself comfortable and enjoys the comfort only a good, smooth smoke can give. Until he notices that the smoke is lingering in the air. He notes that the constant hum of the blower is missing. He manuevers some furniture to examine it and notices the machinery is inaccessable, out in the hall. 'Without that blower,' he thinks, 'the air isn't circulating in this sealed room. I could suffocate. And my smoking sure didn't help things.' He does a quick calculation of the dimensions of the now seemingly small room, the amount an average man like him breathes and the earliest time till rescue. He doesn't like the results. He goes to the thick metal door and begins banging. "Help. Help. The blower stopped working. I'm going to suffocate." Only one figure hears him in the otherwise empty hall and gives a lupine grin. It shuts the heavy hallway door ensuring that no one will hear Ed unless they open the door and go down that hallway. For good measure it broke the lock on equipment room 102, so the only way in is to use a cutting torch. It returns to join the others, certain that it won't have been missed, as certain that this act will not be discovered before it's mission is over. Ed is gone. And he was an innocent. Wolf and Seer please PM. Next death should be on Wednesday morning. It is now mid afternoon gametime. Next death should be before dinner. More later, Vahktang

  21. Zach hugs Terri and notices something strange. "Terri, hon, you're back is wet." He takes his hand away and it comes back red. "Ohmigawd." Terri looks at the hand, gives a little scream and starts to swoon. Zach neatly catchs her and lowers her to the ground. "Terri? Terri, baby? It's going to be OK." "She's wounded. Let's get her to the infirmery," says Dirk. "Let's see how bad the damage is first. Lay her face down on the table there," says Jamia, pointing. "Merit badge in first aid from the girl scouts," she replies from the looks she gets. "Good idea. I'll go get the full first Aid kit," says Ed, and goes off at a run. The other men lift Terri onto the table as gently as they could. Jamia and Kerri pull her shirt up, gingerly. When it comes out of the waistband it is soaked, and some drips on the table. "Ew," says Timmy. "Get him out of here," says Greg. Zach picks Timmy up who begins to scream and throw a fit. "No, no, no, no, no! I want to be with my sister!" Terri's bare skin reveals to be covered in blood. "No, let him stay," says Jamia. "Timmy, baby, go hold your sister's hand." "I'm not a baby," he says, moving around the group of adults, and taking Terri's hand, who rewards him with a weak smile. "'Course you're not. You're a big boy," says Jamia. "Kerri, hold her other hand. Talk to her. We've got to wash this off. Who's got any medical training?" All the men except Aiden and Zach raise their hands and say in a ragged chorus: "In the military." Jamia begins to wash off Terri's back as Dirk comes forward to help, not squeemish at all about blood. "Ok, who has the most medical training?" "Greta," says Tom. "She had two years in medical school." "Well, that doesn't help us here and now," says Dirk. "I've got some field experience. Get some more lights in here. Everybody else stay back." He takes off his shirt to sponge off the blood, as Greg and Aiden look around to put more light on the matter, and Zach joins the siblings, Terri, Kerri, and Timmy all holding hands. They open up for him to join. "Where's the wound," Dirk asks peering. "Kerri, Zach," says Terri, softly. "There was another one." "Shh, Terri," says Zach, "save your strength." "This is important. Remember what those soldiers said? Two skins. Two people. We got one. There's another." "There,"says Jamia, pointing. "What's that." More lights come on and Dirk uses a pencil to touch it. "Looks like a tooth, imbedded in her back," says Dirk. "Probably broke off when he bit her during the fracas." "I'm back," says Ed, handing off the kit, which Dirk accepts with a nod. He joins the others in hovering just out of the way. "Then we take it out," says Jamia, only to be stopped by Dirk's cobra like reflexes. "You can't," says Dirk. "It probably nicked a vessel. It's plugging it up. Take it out and it'll gush." "We have to get her to a hospital," says Greg. "Even with a vehicle and without the rain it's a 4 hour trip to a real hospital," says Tom. "Well it's not a perfect plug. We have to do something," says Jamia." Dirk thinks a moment, surveys the situation, then nods, taking out equipement from the kit. "I'll sew, you assist," he says, looking around, "Greg, you keep the wound clean. The others, ah-" "Just pray," says Zach with a sniff. They begin to work, not having the courage to hesitate, cutting, sewing, as Terri grew weaker and weaker. "Can't we set up a transfusion," says Heinrich. "Sure," says Jamia, concentrating. "Do you know how to do it? Because I sure don't. And what's her blood type. Because if you get the wrong one in, that'll kill her, too." "She has a twin. They have to be a match." Everybody stops working for a moment and an 'Oh' goes between them. Kerri lets go of Terri's hand and Zach replaces her. "What do I have to do?" "I've seen transfusions done in the past," says Heinrich, now going through the kit and pulling equipment out, "and I was awake for one of my own. Put a table next to her. Kerri, lie down upon it and roll up your sleeve." Frantic works goes on as Kerri is prepped, the needle taking six tries to finally find a vein. The blood begins to go through the tube, but Terri begins to bruise. "It missed the vein," says Heinrich, suppressing his desire to curse and trying to repair the setup. Her breathing became more labored. She twists her head to look at her twin, squeezing the crying Timmy's hand, Zach not being without tears himself. "I love you. I love you all. But we can't, I can't die for nothing. "You have to find it," says Terri. "You have to kill it. Promise me. [cough, cough] All of You. Promise Me!" And then slumps and falls silent. Dirk continues to work as Jamia checks Terri's neck, shakes her head sadly at the expectant looks of the group, then puts her hand on Dirk. He looks up and she shakes her head again. He stops working and steps back. Jamia covers Terri with an available large towel. The wolves got another one. It is now day phase. Day phase will last less than an hour game time and end by sunday evening real time. Start accusing. Have fun. More later, Vahktang

  23. Thank you for your patience. And here is the death: While Timmy, Jamia, Terri, Kerri, and Zach have ice cream, the others are searching for something that will help them out of this mess. "How was your lunch," Tom says, holding his stomach with a slight burp. "Fine, the others are having ice cream, " says Aiden. "Well, they're kids," says Tom. "Consider what's happening, I don't blame them a bit. Wish I could find some scotch. So, Greg, what's the idea here again?" "A radio antenna on a hydrogen balloon," says Greg. "It should increase our line of sight, so that we can contact the outside." The group looks at the hanger size room and all the equipment jumbled into it. "So we're looking for a weather balloon, hydrogen, light copper wire, some electonics, everybody has a list.” Everyone nods and they separate looking for the necessary equipment, but Morris calls Ed over to a large display case, small rocks or containers behind thick leaded glass. "What's all this then,” says Pavlov. "Common elements made radioactive,” says Ed. "To what end?” "We don't know. Pure research always pays off. Penicillin. Modern rubber. Edison went through over a thousand items before he settled on what to use as the filament in a light bulb.” “This slot here, number six, is that a diamond?” "Yeah, carbon. Probably an industrial diamond.” "Big though. Do you mind taking over as I peruse this fascinating display? ” Ed sighs and takes his list as Pavlov continues to look. “Radioactive Arsenic. Wonder how poisonous that is?” The searchers find most of what is on their list and gather to leave, going to find Pavlov on the way out. “Look, silver,” they hear as they turn the corner. The first phase that occurs to everyone watching was: "Gosh Grandma, what big teeth you have.' Because before them was not a well known (well, known) actor, past middle age, strong but weakening, but an 8' tall slavering wolf man, jowls apart, a fierce fire in his eye, dressed in a silver jumpsuit with a jeweled belt around his waist. They all stepped back. Shocked. The ice cream gang walk in, stopped. Terri and Kerri gave a little scream as they see the sight before them. "What, dear. Problem," said the wolf/actor, looking over to the family members. "Who's the hairy guy," said Timmy. Pavlov looks down at his now hirsute form. "Oh, dear. I had hoped to do this quietly, but now I guess I'll have to kill you all openly." The twins start to scream in earnest as Heinrich begins to pull his sidearm, but a quick leap closes the distance between them and with a slap of his mighty arm Pavlov easily sweeps the weapon into the corner, under a bench. Another quick blow knocks the security officer to the ground to lay quietly. He turns and growls menacingly, but is surprised to find Dirk with his weapon out and pointing at him. Blam, blam, blam! Three shots hit, one in the head, two in the chest. Dirk lowers his weapon in a cocky relaxed manner, but it is his turn to be surprised when the creature fails to fall. "You don't think you're primitive weapons could harm one from such an advanced race, do you,” says Pavlov. "OK, then," says Dirk, "let's try a full clip. Heinrich, you know what to do." Dirk begins to fire in earnest, leaping, rolling, running, making every shot try to count while keeping his line of fire clear behind him. "Everybody, run," says Heinrich, leaping up, "this way." Heinrich begins to run to a heavy vault door, opposite the entrance, sparing a glance behind him to see that everyone except Dirk was following as quickly as possible. They reach the door to find it closed, and begin to open the heavy, ponderous door when the wolf was amongst them, biting, scratching, drawing blood, sending them in a panic. "Everybody scatter," says Heinrich, as Dirk makes a flying tackle taking Wolf/Pavlov by surprise. Heinrich, Tom, Zach, and Aiden all dog pile on top of him. This gives a moment for the others to gain a distance as the beast tosses the men off him as easily as a he would a doll.. He makes a killing blow towards Dirk just as Dirk roll under a metal work bench, causing the creature to howl and the hardened steel bench to bend remarkably. The others run in separate directions. A chilling howl comes from the creatures, startling everyone. The howl continues until it reaches the entrance, then everyone hears the door close and then the bending of metal. “There. Escape is now not possible,” says Pavlov. “And all this running around won’t do, Earthlings. Hiding won't help you, I can smell you out. Fighting won't help you, I'm stronger, faster, and no weapon you make can harm me. Give up and I promise a quick death, as painless as I can make possible.” “That's just not the American way,” says Greg, out loud, still moving. He sees Dirk and goes over to him. “I think I have a plan,” he whispers. Pavlov stalks the aisle ways, seeing glimpses of his quarry as they squirm, dodge, and run, tagging them each with his talons but failing to do any debilitating damage. He finally stops and yells a challenge. “Is it ‘the American way’ to run and hide?” Dirk breaks hiding, standing firm and resolute. “It’s the American way to win, monster," he says, as he shoots and hits a gas cylinder marked hydrogen behind Monster Pavlov. "You're so scared you can't even hit what you aim at,” says Morris. "Yes I do,” says Dirk, standing his ground. Morris begins to start forward but is distracted by Aiden's lit lighter skidding across the floor and clinking against the out gassing cylinder. That side of the room erupts in a fire ball, propelling Morris across the room to land in equipment bay. He lays there a moment and begins to get up. "Is that the best you can do?" "No, this is," says Terri and hits a button on the heavy winch, dropping a truck sized weight thirty feet to fall upon him. The weight hits with a loud clang, then settles on the floor. There is silence but no movement for a moment, until a trickle of thick yellow liquid pours out from underneath. You killed a wolf. Congrats. But who is injured and how badly?
