  1. With a sudden gust of incoming wind, and the shouts of an angry old man, the front doors of the hall open with a boom, having bounced rather alarmingly against their stops. "Look Pere, I told you that no one will even remember me!, Dash it man, take your hands off my robe!"

You hear a great harrumphing sound and finally see a slight fellow, not too tall, but definitely on the aged side, enter the doors, followed closely by one of the Pen's own, Peredhil. The old man, cowl of his cloak pulled down over his brow, turns back to slap at the hands shoving him inside.

"I told you before, I haven't been out of my cabin for nigh on 20 yrs. Why must I come here with you now?"

At once, near the bar, one can hear several members gasping, a great inrush of breath, as recognition dawns on several folks. All would recognize the old man, just by the cloak and the clasp that holds it shut. The great silver feather pendant, if it is what it seems, was the mark of one of the great Bards of Terra, in old Terra Lost.

Standing nearest the barkeep, Wyvern whispers to the barman to fetch a bottle of mead from the cellars, knowing the old mans' penchant for the stuff. He quickly turns, eyes ablaze with mirth and shouts "GeldrinHor, you old codger! Where in the nine hells have you been, man?"

At the mention of his name, the old man throws back his cowl, revealing an aging face, with long luxurious white hair and beard, and moustaches that seem to reach his chin. His light eyes twinkle and his smile threatens to crack his features. "Wyv? My gods, you old hoary slavedriver. It is grand to see you!"

At that, the guild elder and the old man come together to clasp arms, as Peredhil attempts to decloak GH before he chokes him.

"Pere, here, little sneak that he is, just would not take no for an answer. Followed me around my cabin for three days, he did. Asking me all these silly questions, telling me these little tales about how people were coming back from the old lands. Is it true? Could Terra be found again?"

With chuckles coming from all around him, GeldrinHor takes a look around, noting a few familiar faces among the table dwellers. Off in a far corner, Zool smiles quietly into his tankard, knowing that he too had some hand in the returning wizards path. He lifts his mug up high, toasting "Morning Bard! 'Bout time your old feet wandered back this way."

:D Good to be back in the fold...I'll continue this a bit later...
