Actually, I have to give credit to Zadown for Spirals even continuing - I'd quit writing on it, when a chance comment of his told me someone was reading it - and wanted to see more! So I started up again. This style is different for me. Instead of plotting it out and then writing, I've been trying to put myself in the main character's mind, fill my senses with his, and then just write what he perceives. I just isolated the thing that I most like about it - it is unconventional, I can't see how it will go forward. I've read so much average stuff that that is very refreshing.
