Guest Heart Like A Hole Posted May 9, 2002 Report Share Posted May 9, 2002 no, my darling, i haven't forgotten and no, my dear, i'll stay right here i've made no plans to leave you hanging though right now my feet are dragging and it may seem like i've grown cold but i haven't lost my love... it's just misplaced and i know my laughter is forced you can see my eyes aren't green today i cry in darkness now when once i was singing my skin is shrieking with unbidden rage but don't be afraid, my only, i am tragic but it's sure to pass quickly i haven't lost my smile it's just been misplaced and i know i don't speak my mind now bottle up what i'm feeling and leave you in the dark put you on hold when my eyes start leaking hang up the phone when my heart begins to break no, my lovely, i've not lost my voice it's been misplaced i think i'm sick but this disease can't be permanent i won't let you go or lose hold of what i've found and though i know i'm scaring you and you won't like the way this sounds i just don't know who i am at the moment my eyes are heavy with the weight of unrest things have got to fix themselves run their course and make their peace i haven't lost myself, my dreaming darling, it's just... i think my heart needs to be replaced Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
