Lady Celes Crusader Posted January 22, 2005 Report Share Posted January 22, 2005 Corneille (Raven), is a Rwandese that have been raised by a Huutu mother and a Tutsi Father in happiness until the dreaded massacre in 1994. Surviving all his parents and siblings, he fled in Germany where he have relatives there and had been adopted by a German couple. One faithful day, he decided to make a trip over Montreal and litterrally adopted the city. He started his singing carreer there and starts to be famous in France. Recently, Corneille earned his Canadian citizenship. So I invite you to take a look over this very well done fan site (the official one is still being built) that gives you an idea of Corneille's R&B music. His song's lyrics are very introspective and the consequences of the Rwanda tragedy tincted many of his songs.
