This is just a species description that I may use in future stories. THE RAAL • Life Span: Several hundred years (varies) • Weight: Males: 250 lbs., Females: 200 lbs. • Height: Males: 7’ 6” Females: 7’ • Reproduction: Intercourse. • Communication Means: A pattern of inaudible (to Humans) “tones” transmitted from the neck of the creature (not the mouth), sounding like hollow, glassy, barks. • Diet: Much like a human’s diet, they eat less often, but they do eat more. • Adaptive Features: They don’t have a circulatory system (no veins, arteries, or heart), their “blood” is a thick membrane that only requires oxygen every hour, due to a high oxygen content. The brain has a special feature that memorizes the exact makeup of the body, allowing the regeneration of a limb or vital organ. Their “bones” are made of small strands of tempered cartilage that bend instead of break, and if put under extreme pressure, separate and are held together by small strands of muscle fiber. The joints of the Raal work the same as the bones, allowing for a greater range of motion, compared to a human. • Population: (estimated) 300 billion universally. • Philosophy: Destroy any and all other species (see Religion section, below). • Religion: What they can’t prove is the formation (origin) of the universe; they give this tribute to their “God,” Inskk. For the last million years the Raal have been on a galactic “crusade” to find some kind of sign to lead them closer to their god, and the reason for the universe. They go from planet to planet in search, destroying all life, taking over the planet, and stealing technology. • Governmernt: A Dynasty of royal blood. The Raal are governed by a council of nine elders, known as “The Collective,” and are ruled by a god-like Overlord, whom is named Rosk. ACHIEVEMENTS The Raal are currently the most technologically advanced creatures in the universe. Despite advanced culture and lifestyles. The Raal obviously possess superiority in space transportation, armor, and weaponry. • Transportation: The Raal are capable of light speed space transportation. • Armor: The armor that the standard ground troops wear is controlled via a network or small, almost organic, computers called nanomachines, or “nanos.” The nanos form a neural network with the brain, and also flow within the “bloodstream” of the Raal. This is how the combat armor is controlled, and how information of the armor, and of the soldier is monitored; the monitored information is relayed back to the soldier concerning his physical condition (health) and the condition of his armor. The armor itself is a lightweight, compound armor made of an unknown alloy (rumored to be the strongest in the universe), and is held together, and powered (moved) by a series of artificial “muscles” under the outer armor. The artificial muscles are coated in strands with the same alloy as the armor (much like the bone structure of the Raal) allowing for controlled flexibility. The user of the armor is protected by a body glove of “smartskin” under the support/reinforcement structure of the suit. Smartskin is like a sheet of nanos covering the body. Basically, the armor was designed to be a powered exoskeleton made to augment the strength of the user, multiplying their strength by several times. Several other key components are installed into the suit, such as shield generators, accelerator packs, and a small supercomputer. The suit can instantly use a personal identification system to grant the user access to weapons (since Raal weapons don’t have triggers), and also doubles as a fail safe device that automatically destroys the suit when the user is killed. • Weapons: The weapons of the Raal are for the most part beyond Human understanding, and are theoretically impossible. The majority of Raal weapons are powered by a strange and unknown energy called “plasma.” The plasma used by the Raal appears liquid, and is extremely hot, on average of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and only burns when in contact with matter. The weapons described below are generically used weapons, just like humans have several models of a weapon, so do every other species. • ARM BLADES: Blades on the arms of the soldiers, that “spout” plasma. Used primarily for CQB (close quarters battle), such as hand to hand combat. • THE M-PAW MAIMER: The standard issue weapon of a Raal infantry is the M-PAW (multi-purpose attack weapon) “Maimer”. The M-PAW Maimer in concept, is a “rail gun.” Plasma is generated in the stock of the weapon by nanos, the round is coated in an electrically charged membrane, and sent into a holding chamber. When fired, it is sent down the “barrel” of the rifle which is coated with millions of tiny magnets which propel the round at a phenomenal speed, an average of fifty miles per second. This action of firing can take place several times per second, it all depend on the user of the weapon. • THE M-PAW MAULER: An almost exact copy of the Maimer, the Mauler’s firepower is based more on Raal “anti matter,” which is basically an extremely strong “acid,” that negates matter instantly along with itself on contact.

This is a race I made up, they're Sci-Fi but hopefully that shouldn't be a problem. And I'd also like to note that they HAVE been copyrighted by me! I only say this because some kid in my Sci-Fi class is trying to steal my beautiful creations! LOL!! Otherwise, enjoy!! JikojinMukematsu (Jikojin for short) The Jikojin are an ancient race that highly value honor and justice. That being said, it should also be known that they are believed to have only one-hundred thousand members of their race remaining in existence. So they’re obviously become good at survival. The average Jikojin weighs in somewhere between two-hundred and three-hundred pounds, has an average height of about six foot five, and generally lives anywhere from one-hundred and seventy-five years to two-hundred earth years, but they measure their age not by years, but by how many battles they have been in. They have two genders, very similar to the humans’ male and female, and reproduce in a way also similar to the humans. One thing about them that is very different from humans however, is the way they communicate. Their native language is best described as a series of barks, growls and low pitched squeaks, as far as communicating with another race, they are able to form words and thus would be able to speak English with a very thick accent and slightly broken speech. For the most part the Jikojin are omnivores, but their diet consists mainly of vegetables with some meat on the side. One speculative reason for this diet is their planet of origin, it has been said that their homeworld had very strong gravity, and it was easier for them to grow vegetable gardens than it was to find the few other edible inhabitants. Also because of this high gravity, they are physical stronger than most races, especially in the aspects of running and acrobatics. The Jikojin are a warrior race, a very honorable race, they believe that your honor is your life, and any who dare dispute wither of them will face the argument of the sword. Their government is an interesting mix of Tribe rule and a Feudal system. One thing the Jikojin value highly is their history, they treat the eldest members of their race with high honor and most of their art and music tell of their history and great battles, they also consider combat to be somewhat of an art form. Speaking of combat, the Jikojin highly dislike firearms and prefer the old way of fighting, close combat. Most Myojin (warriors) use a blade resembling a Katana, other Myojin use pole arms, shorter blades, extended claws attached around their wrist, throwing knives, etc. The only real difference between their weapons and mankind’s old weapons is the fact that Jikojin weapons have high frequency (hf) blades so that they tend to shiver and slip right through most any armor, they also have a plasma coating to penetrate energy shields. Their armor resembles that of the old Samurai’s of Japan. Their “bio-armor” tenses up when an impact is made upon it to repel force, it also helps them to adapt to different environments and gravity (or lack there of). For training purposes, they wear armor that is specially made to simulate higher gravities for more effective training. The way they conduct warfare is often very stealthy and quick, using guerilla tactics to outwit and defeat their enemies. All said, the JikojinMukematsu are an old race and are highly respected for their abilities and are thought to now be in the employ of the Quintessance (a large union of alien races) as mercenaries. Possible motives could be the advantage of Quintessance travel, since they are in need of a new homeworld, another could be security in the way of allies. O.K.
